A New York man who was allegedly fighting with his wife ended up shooting her dead, as well as his own father and grandmother, years after his mom claims she predicted he was "going to kill somebody someday," according to cops and reports.
Joshua Fowler, 26, is accused of murdering his wife, Whitney Fowler, his father, Wilson Fowler, and his grandmother, Anita Crandall, on Wednesday night. The Fowlers and Crandall lived together at a home in Grafton.

Joshua Fowler's mother, Eleanor Crandall, told the outlet he has mental health problems and has allegedly refused to get help.

"To me, my son died that night, too," Crandall said.

"I hate him," she added. "And that's a very strong word in my vocabulary. I don't use that word unless I have to."
Police reportedly went to the Fowler residence multiple times in the past in response to domestic disturbance calls before the triple homicide last week. Joshua Fowler's mom says he has dealt with anger and mental health issues for years, to the point where she thought he was going to hurt someone.

"I told his father when he was 15 years old, 'You need to get him mental help because he's going to kill somebody someday,'" Crandall told WRGB.
Joshua Fowler is facing first-degree murder, second-degree murder and a weapons charge in connection to the triple shooting.

I made a prediction about my older son and I'm proud of say it did come true, he was such a bossy little monster, I said he was going to be somebody boss one day, and he is, and he's a good boss, better than I'd ever be. I'm proud of him and I still love him.

It's just so awful for his mother to have made such a horrible prediction and it have it come true. :(

A Grafton man was sentenced for the deaths of his wife, father and step-grandmother. Joshua Fowler accepted a plea deal in November that prevents him from serving life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Fowler admitted to shooting and killing his wife, Whitney Fowler, his father, Wilson Fowler, and grandmother, Anita Crandall, at their Cropseyville home last June.
State police reported that Whitney Fowler managed to call 911 from inside the home, and gunshots were heard over the phone.

Upon arrival, police found Joshua Fowler outside the house with a gun. He refused to disarm, leading officers to use a taser after a brief standoff.
Fowler has been sentenced to 45 years to life in prison.
