Jesse Outlaw sounds like a pretty cool name, and this is a pretty decent way to take yourself out, but he loses definite style points since they were racing go karts.

Gotta watch for that blue shell, it's a doozy!

On Thursday at about 10 p.m., officers responded to the call in reference to a go-kart crash. It was reported that two gas powered go-karts had been racing down a closed drag strip.
During the race, authorities say an operator of one of the go-karts, 29-year-old Jesse Outlaw, struck a guardrail and suffered grave injuries. He was taken to Bayfront Hospital where he died shortly after.
An investigation revealed the two racers had unlawfully entered Showtime Speedway property from Ulmerton Rd., crossing a small patch of grass.
Once on the north end of the drag strip, the two go-karts raced south on the western lane of the strip. Once they reached the southern end, both turned around and began racing north.

Outlaw didn't see the guardrail across his lane of travel and crashed into it. At the time of the crash he was not wearing a helmet and the go-kart wasn't equipped with a safety harness.
Due to the circumstances, a traffic homicide investigation was initiated. The driver of the second go-kart was interviewed and released. He did not sustain any injuries or strike Outlaw's go-kart during the incident.

So they brought their own go-karts?
If so, then I'm indifferent to his death.
(Play stupid games, win stupid prizes)

Now if he stole the go-karts from the dragstrip then it's a shame karma only got one of them.

Phaggy way to die, yet also hilarious.
Guess he wasn't man enough for big boy wheels.

A go-kart driver has died after crashing into a guardrail in an unlawful drag race at Showtime Speedway on Thursday night.

The Pinellas Park Police Departments says the driver, Jesse Outlaw, 29, succumbed to “catastrophic” injures at Bayfront Hospital after the go-kart accident at the closed speedway in Pinellas County.

Police say officers responded to Showtime Speedway around 10:00pm Thursday night for a report of a go-kart accident. Upon further investigation, police learned Outlaw and another go-kart driver entered the speedway property from Ulmerton Road to race one another.

Police say the two go-kart drivers races from the north end of the drag strip to the southern end, at which time they turned around and raced back in the same direction. Outlaw failed to observe a guardrail and crashed into it, resulting in grave injuries.

Outlaw was not wearing a helmet or a safety harness, police added. The speedway was closed and racing was not permitted on the strip at that time.

Due to the circumstances of the case, a traffic homicide investigation was
initiated in coordination with the States Attorney Office.
