Professional cat spooner.
This dude is a one man party! (Attempted) bank robberies, auto theft, jailbreak, and robbing a shitload of guns from the Army Reserve, some people have ALL the fun! Unfortunately, I don't think he's single, or at least his heart seems to be taken by a Framingham woman. :(:(:(

Let's start at the beginning.... Morales was arrested for "child rape and indecent assault on a child under 14 years old" in May of 2015 in Cambridge, MA. I can't find info on that, nor do I particularly care to try but feel free if you'd like to add.

Next, the saga shifts to a theft of some intense firepower in Worcester, MA and then to a homeless dude's exciting discovery in the Bronx...

A homeless man found three of the 16 guns that were stolen from the Lincoln Stoddard Army Reserve Center in Worcester, Mass. on Friday, police confirmed.

The 51-year-old man was collecting cans at Mullaly Park across Yankee Stadium around 9 a.m. when he found a garbage bag that contained three guns inside. He contacted police and they came and recovered the guns.

Six M4 rifles and 10 Sig Sauer M11 handguns were reported stolen last Sunday, according to the Associated Press.

James Morales was arrested in Westbury on Wednesday in connection to the theft.

The FBI affidavit said Morales was tied to the theft through DNA evidence and through an electronic monitoring bracelet that he is wearing because he is out on bail on a child rape charge.

Some other people from Dorchester (a Boston hood) were arrested for helping him sell the guns. 4 guns were never recovered.

According the the criminal complaint, Morales gained access to the guns by "breaking a window of a kitchen located in the proximity of the drill room within the facility" and snuck into the vault by "climbing to the top of the weapons vault, then by cutting a hole in through the ceiling through several layers of metal and wood. It is believed that [Morales] utilized a power saw and pry bar to cut through the ceiling of the weapons vault". He left DNA and that kind of shit on site, and it sounds like he bled on the building a bit. This was all after slicing off a monitoring bracelet for being a diddler, yet apparently kept the bracelet with him since the bracelet places him INSIDE the facility during sporadic times during the robbery. His cell data also placed him there.

He knew the facility because he had been at the armory three days prior.... to pick up discharge papers relating to his aggravated assault and battery charges in 2013.

At this point, the story shifts over to the Wyatt Detention Facility in Central Falls, RI where he was incarcerated. The maximum security facility is for the US Marshals, ICE, and the Navy.

He wanted to jump on his New Years resolution and really make it happen this year so during this past New Years Eve decided to move up in life and out of prison:

Warden Martin said Morales climbed onto the top of a basketball hoop in the facility’s recreation yard, used a tool to cut through fencing, climbed onto the prison’s roof, and went through several layers of razor wire to get to a place where he could climb down the side of the building.

Police say he then followed nearby train tracks to Attleboro, Massachusetts, where they said he stole a car from a store parking lot and ditched it in Framingham.

The car police said Morales stole was found in Framingham with blood, trash, and clothing inside, and with the Rhode Island plates replaced with Massachusetts ones taken from an apartment complex along Route 9.

Then he tried going to his girlfriend's (ex, perhaps? I've read different stories) house in Framingham, MA, but knocked on someone else's door who was confused and wouldn't let that adventurous SOB into her house.

Next, it sounds like he failed, TWICE, to rob a bank in Cambridge and Somerville, two cities that border Boston. Banks just hand over money, I am still unclear how anyone fails to rob a bank, but here we are:

Thursday, a man fitting Morales's description tried to rob the Bank of America at 727 Massachusetts Avenue, police said. The man allegedly passed a note to the teller demanding money shortly before 9:30 a.m.

Cambridge police described the robbery suspect as a black man, with a husky build and a mustache. Officials said he was wearing a black jacket with a gray sweatshirt and a black knit cap.

The second robbery attempt occurred at a Citizens Bank location in Somerville. Afterward, he was apprehended by a uniformed Trooper on Broadway, state police said.

Finally, the adventurous tale of James Morales ends in Somerville this very afternoon after a cop comes to the scene of the bank robbery and chases this mischievous bastard around....

[A trooper] spotted Morales walking near the intersection of Route 28 and Mystic Avenue.

The trooper, Joseph Merrick of the Troop A community action team, pulled up to him. Morales began running. Merrick chased him, eventually arresting him as he tried to jump over a fence in the Foss Park neighborhood. Procopio said Morales was taken into custody just before 4 p.m.

And thus ends the tale of James Morales and all his adventure.

......or does it? To be continued?
