A teenage girl and her parents are facing charges after an assault on a student on a school bus, according to a police report.

The school resource officer at Broome High School was called Friday about an incident on a bus that morning. The officer and the principal reviewed surveillance video from the bus and took a statement from the bus driver.

The police report said 17-year-old Ambrosia Collins began yelling at a girl who was in the back of the bus. The driver said Collins continued to yell as she drove her route and Collins then called her mother as the bus made a stop at the skating rink. The driver said when she asked Collins to get off the call, the teen threw her phone and hit the bus window with her hand.

The driver said as she continued to drive her route, she noticed a car following her with its lights on. When she stopped at a turnaround, she motioned the car around the bus, but said Collins mother, Sara Crawford, and stepfather, Jamarial Crawford, suddenly appeared at the bus door. The bus driver said she assumed the parents were going to pick up Collins, so she opened the bus door.

The bus driver said Sara Collins asked her daughter what was going on, and Ambrosia said the other student was “talking about her baby,” and she was “going to get her.”

The police report said Sara Crawford told her daughter to “go get her,” and Jamarial Crawford told his stepdaughter to “bust her in her g—d---- mouth.”

Ambrosia Collins went to the back of the bus and began to assault the other girl, and the Crawfords followed her to the back of the bus as the driver told them they were not allowed to be on the bus, the police report said.

Police said surveillance video appeared to show Sara Crawford pushing her daughter onto the other girl before Ambrosia Collins was eventually pulled off the other student and she and her parents got off the bus.

The driver said Jamarial Crawford said they would “set it up differently next time.”

The girl who was assaulted was not injured in the assault and was picked up by her mother.

Ambrosia Collins is charged with third-degree assault and battery. Jamarial and Sara Crawford are charged with disturbing school and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

I live on Bethel street, my phone corrects it to Brothel, every fucking time!

A family that assaults together goes to jail together, let's hope that they stay there, for awhile anyway.
