A school employee is facing a raft of charges after offering male students 'cash and Viagra in exchange for inappropriate photos.'
Orlando police arrested Jaelen Alexander, 19, on Wednesday after reports from boys that Alexander had messaged them on Snapchat, sending them nude photos and asking the boys to do the same, police said.
At least two of the three alleged victims said they met Alexander on campus at Orlando Science Charter School where he had assumed a mentorship role to some of the male students, as reported by Orlando.com.
Alexander was a part-time office assistant at the school for a total of six months.
He had asked for social media accounts with three male students reporting he had offered them $50 cash, Viagra or to provide them with an excuse to skip class if they sent him nude photos, police said.
All had declined and gone on to block Alexander on social media.
A detective used one of the alleged victim's accounts to exchange messages with Alexander.
He admitted to knowing the victim was 14 and apologized for 'being inappropriate.'
Police say Alexander continued to ask if the the victim was romantically interested in him or willing to send nude photographs.
When first confronted with the allegations on campus, Alexander allegedly apologized and quit his job at the school, as noted by officers in their arrest report.
