NORTH BLOOMFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – Deputies said they pulled over an Amish buggy complete with alcohol and a stereo system early Sunday morning.

Just before 1 a.m., Trumbull County sheriff’s deputies said they saw two Amish men drinking alcohol while riding on the back of a horse and buggy.

The deputies said there was a 12-pack of Michelob Ultra on top of the buggy.

They pulled the buggy over at Donley and Mahan Parker Roads in North Bloomfield, Ohio.

Deputies said the people riding in it ran out into the trees while the horse continued down the road.

There were several open bottles of alcohol in the buggy, as well as a radio sound system, deputies said.

Cops pulled over a horse and buggy in Ohio when they saw the two Amish men inside pounding beer as they rode — and found a massive rocking stereo system in the back, according to a report.

The Trumbull County sheriff’s deputies in North Bloomfield also found a 12-pack of Michelob Ultras on top of the buggy with several open bottles inside, WKBN reported.

The men — who come from a community that usually shuns high technology and avoids alcohol — fled into the trees as the deputies approached and left their horse behind to continue clopping down the road, deputies said.

The buggy was towed and deputies found someone to take care of the horse until the owner comes forward.

Anyone ever see the show "Breaking Amish"? Crappy forbidden beer and an unsanctioned radio are the least of their sins I'd bet. I mean heck, there was a spinoff called "Amish Mafia", these are not always the peaceful, God-fearing Christians you think they are! Some of these folks are downright evil, according to TLC that is... :shifty:
