A "concerned third party" reported suspicions of child sexual abuse to the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office, which resulted in the arrests of a brother and sister.

The report was made on Dec. 27, 2017, alleging possible sexual assaults of a juvenile in the Pineville area. The complainant said the victim was staying at a family member's home where the two alleged suspects also were staying, reads a release.

An investigation was started by detectives. It included the victim being interviewed at the Children's Advocacy Center.

"Through their investigation, detectives were able to gather evidence that supported the original allegations, which led to sufficient probable cause being established and arrest warrants were obtained for both suspects," it reads.

Brianna Renee Cameron, 39, was arrested July 5 at her home in the 51 block of Mylee Drive in Ball. Members of the U.S. Marshal's Violent Offenders Task Force assisted in the arrest, and also recovered were meth and firearms, reads the release.

The task force continued to search for 41-year-old Jeremy Douglas Cameron, of the 100 block of Worsham Road in Pineville. He turned himself in on July 27.
Both were booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center.

Briana Cameron was charged with aggravated crime against nature, indecent behavior with a juvenile, possession of a controlled dangerous substance II and illegal carrying of a weapon with drugs. She remains in jail on a $204,000 bond.
Jeremy Cameron was charged with six counts of aggravated crimes against nature, six counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, six counts of sexual battery and four counts of cruelty to a juvenile. He remains in jail on a $850,000 bond.
