And...in local news in my area. This guy's little brother, a good kid, is a regular guest on the mountain...crazy shit.

The pastor of a Fulton County church was surprised to find an intruder crouched behind the pulpit when he entered his house of worship Sunday morning. The intruder identified as 22-year-old Trebor Broyles of Izard County would later flee the scene in the pastor’s car.According to the probable cause affidavit, a Fulton County deputy responded to a break-in and stolen vehicle report at the Moko Church of Christ, located along Asher Road off of State Highway 395 Sunday.

The pastor told the deputy he makes his trip from Searcy early Sunday mornings in order to rest before church service.

He said when he arrived and attempted to enter the double doors on the north side of the building, it seemed as though something was propped against them preventing him from entering.

Once inside, he immediately noticed two windows at the opposite end of the room, with the curtain missing from the left side.

As he walked toward the windows, he noticed a piece of the curtain on the floor along with broken glass. It appeared a brick has been used to break the window and gain entry.

The pastor then noticed someone crouched behind the pulpit, later identified as Broyles, and asked him why he was there.

The pastor reported Broyles was polite, using “yes sir” and “no sir,” during their exchange.

Broyles reportedly told the minister he was trying to get to Melbourne and was advised he could stay for the night, and they would figure out what to do the following morning.

When the pastor exited the church to retrieved items from his car, he reported Broyles appeared uneasy and was constantly moving.

He told the deputy by the time he thought about going to turn off the engine of his car, Broyles reportedly rushed from the church into the pastor’s car and fled.

A second affidavit indicates Broyles was interviewed Monday in the Izard County jail and notes he was picked up at a relative’s home along Newburg Road in Izard County.

In September, Broyles’ mother reported the theft of a weapon and her vehicle, later recovered in West Plains.
