A Pensacola woman was arrested on suspicion of battery after she allegedly tore out another woman's dreadlocks from her scalp, causing bleeding and possible scarring.
Lisa Marie Wyman, 31, was arrested and charged with felony battery.
Wyman was arrested after an Escambia County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to a disturbance at a residence on Saturday.
A woman told the deputy that Wyman attacked her for "no apparent reason," according to Wyman's arrest report.
Earlier that day, the woman said she had heard Wyman tossing furniture around inside a bedroom. The woman said she tried to calm her down but that did not work, and Wyman then allegedly attacked her.
The deputy wrote in the arrest report that there were several pieces of dreadlocks lying on the floor

“Looking at the area where the hair was removed, this officer believes there will be scars on the scalp from what Wyman did,” an ECSO deputy wrote.
