Can you tell us what the issue was regarding the mother of this child that her visitations had to be supervised?
She didn't have supervised visits, she was dumping her child off at her parents and they were all pretending that she was caring for him. Her stepmother was then pretending that she was raising him since she cared for him the 3 days of her visitation. Apparently she is a heroine addict, another hidden fact.

You're right about his mother being totally immature and narcissistic, she didn't want her baby because everyone put him before her. She never had even 1 pic of Shawn on her Facebook, that wasn't put there from someone tagging, her until after she let her pedophile bf torture him. He was a dealer her an addict, she had something he wanted and he had what she needed. She's already given birth to another boy who's safety I pray for daily.

WTF I am fighting back my greek yogurt as I just want to spew all over my desk. I mean really another kid, WTF...

GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN LITTLE ANGEL

A lawyer defending an Alexandria man charged with murdering an 11-month-old boy said Tommy Page wasn’t responsible for the killing, but told jurors Monday they would be “disgusted, repulsed and horrified” by what his client did to the victim.

Page, 30, is facing alternate counts of first- and second-degree murder and manslaughter among other charges in connection with the Nov. 13, 2015, death of Shawn Sylvester, the son of Page’s former girlfriend, Danielle Sylvester.

“You are going to meet Shawn’s killer during this trial. She’s going to get up here and lie to you,” said public defender Jay Duguay in his opening statements.

“There is no question he was in fact killed, but there is a question as to who killed him and to who drugged him. The answer to those questions is Danielle Sylvester,” Duguay said.

Senior Assistant Attorney General Geoff Ward, however, identified Page as the killer, saying he crushed the boy’s skull and snapped his right arm and left leg.

“We will never be able to comprehend the unspeakable horror that this child underwent,” Ward told the jury.

The state has charged that Page drugged the boy to keep him from resisting and then killed him either before, during or after abusing him.

The prosecution showed the jury two of 14 pornographic images found on Page’s cellphone, which they allege document the abuse.

Monday marked the opening day of the trial, which is expected to last 10 days. The state is scheduled to call as many as three dozen witnesses.

After a morning hearing outside the earshot of the jury, Page agreed to stipulate that he has a prior federal conviction. As a result, the state does not have to show proof of his record at trial.

The benefit for the defense is that it will keep the jury from learning that Page was previously found guilty of possessing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking. But if found guilty of giving the victim suboxone, the prior conviction will make Page subject to a harsher sentence.

Page had a prescription for suboxone.

Judge Lawrence MacLeod Jr. scuttled the defense team’s efforts to solicit testimony suggesting Danielle Sylvester had motive to kill her son.

The defense had sought to introduce testimony that Sylvester refused to refer to her son by name, agreed to have family members assume care for the baby when he was three weeks old, that she visited him just once a week and spent little time with him and declined to feed or bathe him.

Duguay told the jury that neither Sylvester or Page should have had responsibility for a child and that both abused him, “Tommy sexually, and Danielle, physically.”

Duguay claimed that Sylvester was frustrated by her inability to get her insurance to authorize payment for a pharmacy to fill her drug prescription and that she took her anger out on her son.

The prosecutor said the infant’s injuries occurred when the victim spent 2.5 hours home alone with Tommy Page.

The child was airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment and died of severe brain injuries two days later, having never regained consciousness.

How was this even able to occur, then?

Interesting defense. Yeah, my client sexually abused the kid....but isn't a monster, he would NEVERRR KILL him!

Those poor jurors, having to see that poor baby on that creep's phone being abused....

A man has been sentenced to life in prison in the death of an 11-month-old New Hampshire boy in 2015.
Thirty-year-old Tommy Page, who was sentenced Wednesday, is not eligible for parole. He was convicted of first-degree murder and falsifying evidence last month in connection with the death of Shawn Sylvester.

Court documents say the boy's mother left her son with the Page, her boyfriend, for a few hours and returned to find the baby "lying face-down in his bed in a pool of vomit." Sylvester later died at a hospital.
Officials say there was evidence of drugs in Sylvester's system.

State officials called this a heinous case that was "difficult" for jurors to listen to.

Prosecutors said the boy was molested and killed when he was alone with Page in November 2015 while his mother was at a doctor's appointment.

Shawn was found unconscious in his crib by his mother later that day, prosecutors said.

Prosecutors said Page physically abused, sexually assaulted, drugged and killed Shawn and then took pictures of what he did.

The boy was flown to a hospital and died two days later.

When Page's trial began last week, defense attorneys said he wasn't responsible for the boy's death, placing the blame on the child's mother. Prosecutors said the boy's family is still traumatized, and there's nothing they can do to change that.

Page didn't say a word in court as he was convicted, and he only showed emotion once, when he bowed his head into his hand.

His continued existence on this planet is an affront to humanity.
Draw and quarter him.

As for the mother apparently she's at it again and spewed out a new one.
Shame she wasn't spayed

Murder conviction in horrific death of 11-month-old affirmed by NH Supreme Court

CONCORD
— The state’s highest court upheld the first-degree murder conviction of Tommy Page, sentenced to life in prison for the death of an 11-month-old Alexandria boy in 2015.

Page’s public defender had argued the trial court judge should not have permitted at trial incriminating photographs on Page’s cellphone that authorities said proved Page had sexually assaulted the child on the day of his death.

Page also had asked the Supreme Court to permit he be granted another trial when he could introduce alleged statements from the victim Shawn Sylvester’s mother, Danielle, that she didn’t want to be left alone with her son because she was having “bad thoughts.”

Associate Justice Gary Hicks authored the opinion all five judges endorsed that rejected all of Page’s arguments on appeal.

“Given this overwhelming evidence as to the victim’s devastating injuries, we find no basis for concluding that the alleged error seriously affected the fairness, integrity or public reputation of judicial proceedings,” Hicks wrote.
