Repeated sexual assault of a child

According to the criminal complaint, a South Milwaukee police officer was sent to check a suspicious vehicle complaint on April 8. When the officer arrived on the scene, he spoke with a 19-year-old woman who stated the home was “unsafe.” The officer took brief statements from the children living in the home. They indicated their “house was very dirty, they were not going to school, there were holes in the walls and floors and they used space heaters because there was no heat.” Because of this preliminary information, the officer determined “everyone should go to the police station to give statements.”

The complaint indicates on the next day, April 9, an officer accompanied the children back to the home to collect belongings. The officer “observed that there were nails sticking up in the kitchen floor to the point that he actually tripped on one of these nails.” The officer also also noted there were “no heat vents upstairs, no insulation and one space heater” in the house.

Investigators later questioned Brian Keene, the owner of the house, at the South Milwaukee Police Station. He stated “he stopped making all of his children do school work about 5 years ago after his wife left.” He apparently said the children “had a computer, but he never checked if they did work, nor did he make them do any work.” The complaint says Keene said he “had not taken the children to the doctor in about 10 years because none of them were ever sick.” He also “admitted that he knew of allegations” against his older boys. Keene says he “thought something was likely going on when the boys were teenagers, because of their ‘raging hormones.'” Keene then asked if his sons were going to jail, because he relied on their income to stay afloat.

When questioned individually by police and sensitive crimes experts, each of children in this case described instances in which they were touched inappropriately on multiple occasions.

When investigators questioned Elijah Keene on April 8, he “denied any wrongdoing,” the complaint says. But when he was told he was being moved to the Milwaukee County Jail, Elijah Keene “asked if it was too late to make a confession.” Elijah Keene described instances in which he had inappropriate contact with the children in the house. He stated he “tried to stop,” but that he was “addicted.”

So, wait a second. This guy randomly spawns 3 pedophile sons, yet he himself has not been charged with assaulting any children??? Soooo how did they get that way? Really? What are the chances he's actually not a pedophile? Feels like they're pretty slim, but what do I know.

A South Milwaukee home where three brothers allegedly engaged in years-long sexual assaults on their younger siblings, unchecked by their father, was described by neighbors Wednesday as a loud, disorderly household where "the lights were left on all night long."

"Everyone around here knew there was something strange about that family," said a woman who lives nearby and did not want to be identified.

Bail totaling $225,000 has been set for the father and sons who were arrested after police located the victims, who were taken from the home by an older sister, according to a criminal complaint.

The brothers are charged with multiple felony counts, including repeated first-degree sexual assault of the same child, and first- and second-degree sexual assault of a child or a person younger than 13, according to the records.

The father is charged with multiple counts of neglecting a child resulting in a sex offense and bodily harm, and failure to protect a child, according to the records.

According to the complaint:

Police went to the home on April 8 for a suspicious vehicle complaint. A 19-year-old woman, one of the sisters of those charged, spoke with officers saying her youngerbrothers and sisters ran away from home because it was unsafe.

Around the same time, the father called the police to report the children missing.

Once located, the children told police their house was very dirty, they were not going to school, there were holes in the walls and floors, and there was no heat.

The father told officers his 19-year-old daughter took three of his other children a few days earlier without permission. He admitted to knowing of allegations that his 20-year-old son was touching his sister inappropriately and said he thought something likely was going on when the boys were teenagers because of “raging hormones.”

The 19-year-old said she had been repeatedly sexually assaulted by the 27-year-old brother when she was 12 years old and it stopped when she turned 15.

Another sister, 22, told police the same brother also sexually assaulted her when she was 8 years old at least four times. She said her father knew about the allegations.

A third sister, 16, said she was molested since she was in diapers and forced into oral sex by the 27-year-old. Additionally, she said the 29-year-old forced her to touch him. These incidents stretched over 10 years.

A fourth sister, 12, said she was sexually assaulted by her brothers and that her father knew but didn’t try to stop it.

One brother, 14, said he also was molested by his older brothers.

The 16-year-old also told police she and her siblings were supposed to be home-schooled but never did any schoolwork. She also said her father didn’t prepare food for them, according to the complaint.

The father told police he stopped making his kids do school work about five years ago when his wife left, the complaint says. It further states "it is believed that the mother of the children is now deceased."

"Neighbors described the home as chaotic, with the younger children shouting and running about during school hours and screams coming from upstairs windows at night. "

"The woman also said lights in the home would remain on all night and that recently, "those kids got skinny real fast."

This really pisses me off: WTF with the neighbors that no one called the cops or CPS? By keeping their mouths shut they were complicit in the ongoing torture of these kids.

Mom should’ve taken the younger ones with her when she fucked off

“MILWAUKEE COUNTY — Two South Milwaukee brothers pleaded guilty in a case in which they, a third brother, and their father, stand accused of multiple crimes against children.

Elijah Keene, 28, on Aug. 6 pleaded guilty to three counts of repeated sexual assault of same child (three or more first degree acts). Two other counts were dismissed, but read into the court record. Sentencing was scheduled for Sept. 19”

House was, as usual, gross.

More info in link along with pics.

Elijah Keene, what happened to him? Seems like 2-6 years in state prison isn't much of a punishment. I hope the girls are in a better place now.
