Ex Cop William Paul Arrested In The Death Of His Parents

That person has been identified as William Paul “Willie” Taylor, 48 years old of Nampa. Information received during his arrest, coupled with information at the residence, has led police to believe that the deceased persons are his parents, Paul Robert Taylor, 76 and Mary Jane “Jane” Taylor, 77, both of Nampa and the owners of the residence.

Autopsies are scheduled for early next week.

William Paul Taylor’s last known address was at his parents address in Nampa.

In researching William, it was determined that he was a former Nampa police Reserve Officer from June of 1990 to October of 1991 when he left to take a job with the Pocatello Police Department. He served with Pocatello Police from October 28th, 1991 until December 20th, 1996.

William is being held on a Canyon County warrant for Failure to report a death, Felony, $1,000,000 bond and additional charges through Deschutes County.
