An enraged woman fatally plunged a knife into her boyfriend’s chest during a fight in their Bronx apartment early Sunday, cops said.
Elizabeth Marrero, 26, was arguing with Jeremy Lantigua in the couple’s home on Prospect Ave. near E. 178th St. in Tremont at about 2:45 a.m. She accused her lover of being unfaithful before stabbing him once in the chest with a large kitchen knife, authorities said.
Medics rushed Lantigua, 26, to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died about an hour later, according to police.
Police recovered the knife and arrested Marrero at the scene without incident. She was charged with murder.
