Kentriale Barnes
ORLANDO, Fla. -
A 28-year-old man who works at Walt Disney World was arrested at his workplace on child pornography charges.

Kentriale Authur Barnes, of Orlando, was arrested Wednesday on charges of cruelty toward a child and possession of obscene material.

According to an arrest affidavit, Orange County investigators discovered that illegal photos were downloaded to a computer where Barnes lives.
Deputies went to his home after obtaining a search warrant and found child pornography on a laptop computer, the affidavit said.

Deputies learned that Barnes worked at Disney and went to his workplace, Fort Wilderness, according to law enforcement officials. There, Barnes admitted that he had downloaded the images and said he knew it was illegal, the affidavit said.

Barnes told investigators that he had been downloading child porn for years.

They make sure to get jobs where they have kids around too

Seriously, why do these sickos need to work in such close proximity to kids? Any time my kids and I go to any place designed for kids, I'm always wary of the employees. I guess I've been reading too long. We go to this indoor play center pretty regularly and there's a guy there who gets inside the structures with the kids and plays with them, and that weirds me out. I always make sure my kids are nowhere near him. Creep.

Do you feel comfortable mentioning to management that this guy gets inside these small areas with the children, and that it makes you (and likely other parents as well), feel uneasy? Maybe since it is not necessary it is time for a policy change.

Yeah, I've considered it. I mean, he's an employee, and the employees there will sometimes go into the structures to help smaller children in case they're stuck or need help with an obstacle, but he will very often stay in there and play with the kids, and that has weirded me out.

If it was me than Fallen, if he does that when your kid is in there I'd go in to to observe. If thats an issue for anyone THAN I'd say why? Cause it seems to me all you need is a good opening for your concerns not to be taken out of context, because you are trying to give him the benefit of a doubt, but anyone would have concerns.

Mommyslosingit is actually the one facing this issue so I have no idea whether or not there is room for two adults in what I am picturing as tiny playground equipment. I'm
5'1" and about 100 lbs so I personally would dare someone to say they had a problem with me going in there.
I actually go in the tiny little McDonald's playlands with my kids because I don't like it when my kids get up there and get scared to get down. The stairs in those things kinda make me worry my littles will come tumbling down so I feel better being in there with them, even though I'm yet to be in one that doesn't smell like stale grease and urine.
