Poland: Dawid W didn't want to have anymore kids w/ Aleksandra J, killed 4 of their newborns

A couple have been charged with suffocating their four children moments after they were born and hiding their bodies in a stove and under a tree.

The pair, named only as Aleksandra J and Dawid W by Polish police, were arrested after neighbours reported seeing the woman pregnant four times but never seeing any children.

The bodies of the four babies were found by police on a farm in the village of Ciecierzyn in Opolskie Voivodeship in south-western Poland.

Police officers then began searching the property owned by her and her partner, Dawid W, and are said to have found the bodies of three of the babies hidden in a stove and the remains of the other youngster buried under a tree.

Aleksandra J has been arrested and charged with four counts of murder whilst her 37-year-old partner was arrested and charged with four counts of accessory to murder.

According to the investigators, the couple's alleged murders followed the same pattern.

Aleksandra J gave birth to children at home in the bath and reportedly raised one of her children, now six years old.

Immediately after the birth, she is alleged to have put her newborns into a plastic bag where they suffocated to death. Dawid W is alleged to have exerted psychological pressure on Aleksandra J not to report her pregnancies to the healthcare system as he did not want to have more children with her.

One of the neighbours told reporters: 'I can't say a bad word about her. She took care of her son, she was very social. 'The child was well-dressed, nice looking. What happened under the roof of their home is terrible.'

Both suspects face life in prison if they are found guilty. The investigation is ongoing, police said.

Eh suspect story. Poland is disgustingly ultra conservative. I am reminded of the mindset that exists in nutter super conservative idiot Indiana, where the legislature was seriously pushing for laws that would require funerals for stillborns. I can imagine a similar mindset existing in Poland and influencing this case .Very possible there was a disdain that parents, especially a mother, would dispose of her stillborn children this way, and that would influence a rush to judgment or even a desire to persecute/prosecute to punish them for it.

I doubt the story as is and hope the medical testing/autopsies are questioned and investigated thoroughly.
