A man who allegedly threw a toilet through the glass of a Board of Education building in Illinois was ironically arrested while sitting on another toilet last week.
Dave Toliver, a 36-year-old Florida man, was arrested on Friday and charged with felony criminal damage to property.
He was taken into custody after officers from the East Saint Louis Police Department responded to a property damage call at the Board of Education building located in East St Louis.
Upon arrival, witnesses told officers that Toliver had 'carried an old toilet' to the building and 'threw the toilet through the front glass'.
Toliver had already fled the scene on foot by the time officers arrived.
Officers were able to locate Toliver at the corner of 11th and Cleveland Streets.
