A Michigan man led police on a multi-county chase followed by an 8-hour standoff on Thursday, with his four children inside the vehicle was driving.

The chase began in Petoskey after an officer responded to a complaint about a vehicle swerving in and out of traffic. That officer caught up to the vehicle at a gas station where, when confronted, the driver threw hot coffee on the officer, Carroll said.

The officer was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries after the man drove away, beginning the multi-county chase.

The man inside the truck called 7&4 News and according to him, he had his four children in the truck with him.

He also told us that they are homeless-that the truck is their home.

He's not doing it right. Maybe he was on drugs.

Sucks about the homelessness with 4 kids tho... this is shitty.

Cannot find a source news organization link that works for eurotrash, at least without enabling an unusually large pile of scripting (noscript). hm.
