A man and a woman have been charged in the murder of their 2-year-old son in Delaware County in 2025, according to the District Attorney's Office.
On April 17, 2026, Delaware County District Attorney announced the charges against Cynthia Robinson and Frank Walton Sr. in connection with their son's death. Detectives said Robinson is accused of beating her 2-year-old son to death, and Walton is accused of preventing the child from getting medical attention, leading to his death.

"The allegations in this case are both heartbreaking and deeply troubling. A child lost their life at the hands of those who had a fundamental responsibility to love, protect, and care for them. As a father, a coach and a citizen of Delaware County, I’m heartbroken. We will move forward with a thorough and deliberate prosecution, guided by the evidence and driven by our duty to seek justice for this child,” Rouse said.
According to investigators, in November 2025, Chester Police were dispatched to the parents' home for a report of an unresponsive child and in cardiac arrest, with possible head trauma.

The boy was transported to the hospital, where he died, officials said.

According to investigators, Robinson had initially blamed her son's death on one of her other children. However, investigation revealed that the scenarios that she described, were "factually impossible."
As detectives continued to investigate, officials said they became aware that Robinson had a history of abusing her children, and at the time of this incident, she was also on supervision for endangering the welfare of a child due to instances of drug use in the presence of her children.

According to officials, a day before the murder, the boy was seen bleeding and Robinson was overheard exclaiming "f*** this little b***, I'm going to hit him now, I am tired of this little b*** a** kid."

Detectives said she then dropped the child from her waist.
