Dorian White, 24, has been charged with aggravated murder for having stabbed his mother, 46-year-old Melissa Graham, Monday at his apartment in Grove City, about 10 miles southwest of Columbus, according to court records, The Columbus Dispatch reports.

White, according to an affidavit, told authorities he asked his mother to bring him groceries and sprayed her with mace upon her arrival to the apartment, the paper reports.

White then proceeded to repeatedly stab Graham. “He only stopped because he got tired,” according to the affidavit filed in Franklin County Municipal Court.

Grove City police subsequently found White with a knife in a nearby parking lot and took him into custody, according to the outlet.

Graham did not survive despite being rushed to the hospital.

According to the case’s charging documents, White maced and stabbed his mother upwards of 20 times after she brought groceries to his home. He allegedly later kicked her as she laid bleeding to death on the ground.

An apparent motive in the Ohio mother’s slaying hasn’t been released, though police described the killing as premeditated.

White, who reportedly confessed to his mother’s killing, showed no remorse under police questioning.

As a result, the judge committed White to the Timothy B. Moritz Unit at Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare, a maximum-security facility in Columbus, Ohio [1.21].
