October 22, 2007 marked two years since Irwin County High School teacher, Tara Faye Grinstead, disappeared from Ocilla, Georgia, leaving behind all of her personal belongings, students, friends, family, pets and many unanswered questions. Tara's unusual disappearance launched a national media campaign focused on the tragic mystery, but few facts were available to report. The media campaign faded as other stories came to the forefront, but the quest to find Tara has quietly continued. Driven by the concern and dedication of law enforcement, family, friends, and online sleuths, the mission to find Tara has not ceased. Those pursuing answers to Tara's case, from far and near, share a common bond of hope and dedication to finding Tara - and finding out what happened to her almost two years ago.
At 1:30 pm on Sunday afternoon, October 21, 2007, there was an organized gathering at the chapel and reflecting pool grounds on the campus of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia to honor Tara and remind everyone that the quest to find Tara is not over. Tara was crowned Miss Tifton in 1999, and she attended ABAC during her post graduate studies. Billy and Connie Grinstead were in attendance and spoke about the painful journey they have travelled the past 2 years.
We remain hopeful that one day there will be answers where now only questions live. If you know something about the disappearance of Tara Grinstead, we urge you to share what you know so her family can find some measure of peace. Please contact law enforcement today and share what you know.

Sorry, this is my first post so I don't know how to put up a picture of her.
