Cassandra Keller's 3-year-old daughter was beaten and bruised

Allegations of abuse of a local toddler were outlined in an incident report released Friday by the Bucyrus Police Department.

Authorities described the 3-year-old girl as having multiple injuries.

Cassandra Marie Keller, 22, was indicted Monday on a felony child endangering charge. She will be arraigned Monday in Crawford County Common Pleas Court.

On July 27 around 4 p.m., responding to a complaint fielded by the Crawford County Sheriff's Office, a Bucyrus officer arrived at 1838 E. Mansfield St. and was greeted by the suspect's father, Robert Keller.

According to the incident report, the Galion man told the officer his granddaughter "had been abused and it didn't look good."

Once inside, the officer found the girl and her mother. The toddler's face was swollen and her right eye was blackened and almost swollen shut, the report said. The officer escorted Cassandra Keller and her daughter to the Bucyrus Community Hospital emergency room and notified Crawford County Children Services.

According to police, closer inspection revealed what seemed to be burn marks on the girl's left foot.

Being directly related to this so called "mom" I feel the whole story should come out.....so much is being left unsaid, like the fact that she is covering for the boyfriend, how badly this child was actually hurt and how this child even at age 3 can NOT communicate with anyone, she is nonverbal and how this happened at nite and it wasnt reported to the police for more than 12 hrs later.

What is sad is that she DID NOT get any help for that baby for 17hrs because she didnt start the process of the law being called...her family...extended not immediate family did. She was scared childrens services would be called...trying to say Justins kids hit that poor little girl with a baseball bat...well if that is the truth then why the H*LL didnt she call 911 and get that baby help...no she waited till 4:30pm the next day and like I said extended family called...

she and her boyfriend Justin Sykes beat the crap out a helpless 3 yr old little girl at 10:30pm...a child who is nonverbal, and why 1 or both of these ppl did this we will never know, but it wasnt until cassandra went to her grandmothers home that an aunt called the police after recieving a call and pictures of what had been done to the little girl, [...] the doctor immediately knew she was beat and burned on the top of her foot and arms, if you could have seen this little girls face, 1 side completely black and blue and eye swollen shut, the other side also black and blue and all she(little girl) could do was smile...

Justin Sykes is NOT running from the law. he was however, questioned and released when the police realized that they had absolutely nothing to charge him with. he has taken and passed more than 1 drug test since all of this has happened. he wasn't high. he didn't beat or burn that child. he has nothing to do with this. he loves Aizlee and he loves Cassandra too.

The only thing i can think of is that they/ she were on drugs i mean look at cassandra sher face is so skinny and pale she does"nt even look like her usual self. and i am accusing one of them of doing this because i mean the police dont just indict someone for nuthing. if she would have had any kind of true/logical story then her daughter would not have been taken and she would not have been arrested. what a shame......

Didn't I read that the pizza tossing dad got charged with this too? I'm asking because there is a huge difference between what he done and what was done to this little one.
