Logan Kennison, the boyfriend of Kelsey Turner, and accused killer of Dr. Thomas Burchard gave his first interview to Access Hollywood.
“We’re not monsters, we didn’t do it,” Kennison told Access.

Diana Nicole Pena, 31, is due in court Tuesday after agreeing to plead guilty to a reduced charge in the death of 71-year-old Dr. Thomas Burchard.
Pena’s attorney, Jess Matsuda, said Friday his client could get probation or up to five years in prison for her felony conviction.

Jon Kennison pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder in Clark County District Court. A judge sentenced Kennison to 18-45 years in prison for his role in the 2019 murder of Dr. Thomas Burchard.

According to an arrest report, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police were called to a suspicious vehicle near Lake Mead at about 9:30 a.m. on March 7, 2019. Burchard’s body was found in the trunk of the vehicle.

The arrest report said Burchard’s longtime girlfriend reported Burchard missing in early March. Burchard told his girlfriend he had to take care of a few things in Las Vegas and the girlfriend said Burchard flew to Las Vegas to visit Kelsey Turner. Burchard reportedly paid for Turner’s rent in Salinas, Calif. before she moved to Las Vegas.

In June 2019, Pena pleaded guilty to accessory to commit murder. Turner, Kennison’s girlfriend, is awaiting trial in November.

A former Playboy and Maxim model was sentenced to 10 to 25 years in Nevada state prison on Tuesday over her role in the death of a California doctor found stuffed in the trunk of a car near Las Vegas.
Kelsey Turner, 29, entered an Alford plea in November of last year, one of the defendant’s representatives previously toldLaw&Crime. At the time, Turner was aware of the sentence she faced and agreed to enter the plea one one charge of murder in the second degree in exchange for guaranteed parole eligibility after 10 years behind bars.


According to Las Vegas-based CBS affiliate KLAS reporter Caroline Bleakley, Turner accepted her sentence through tears.
