Elmore County deputies have charged a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force with three counts of child abuse and three counts of sexual abuse in the first degree, including the alleged involvement of an animal in the commission of the crime.
Brian Brannan, 39, of Deatsville, turned himself in with counsel to the Elmore County Sheriff's office. The ECSO confirmed that Brannan met bond that same day.
"This is by far one of the most bizarre sexual cases that I've ever seen," said investigator Chris Ogden, of the Elmore County Sherriff's Office.
During the investigation by the sheriff's office, according to Ogden, it was determined that "the individual had sexual contact with both victims and that they were touched in a sexual manner by the defendant."
Ogden also said the allegations involve the victims having inappropriate sexual contact with a canine.
