Albuquerque Police were called to La Mesa Elementary School on Friday. They say a 7-year-old girl disclosed to her teacher that her mother Brenda Flores, slapped and punched her for not getting ready for school quickly enough.
The little girl had injuries consistent with the story. When officers confronted Flores at her job, she claimed she threw a shoe at the girl and called herself "a piece of s*** mom"."
