A Bronx family’s babysitter was busted for flying into a fit of rage and stabbing her employer in front of the kids during an argument over payment, police said Tuesday.
“I don’t work for free!” Miriam Paloma, 27, shouted as she fought with the 27-year-old mother of two children, ages 4 and 7, according to authorities.
The home aide cares for one of the two children, who has special needs, a police source added.
She then plunged a knife into the woman’s shoulder twice and slashed her once in the right side — in front of both children, police said.
The victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, cops said. The children were not hurt.
Paloma was arrested soon after and charged with assault, acting in a manner injurious to a child, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
