I started watching yesterday and 7 episodes later I was hooked.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2261227/

Joel Kinnaman, he played Flag in Suicide Squad, kinda forgettable but he's amazing as Tak in Altered Carbon, hot as hell and spends a lot of time naked. There's even been a fat penis so far (James Purefoy)! It's still annoying to me that these shows show vagina now with ease but a penis is still one every 10 episodes if you're lucky.

It's a murder mystery in the distant future when people are basically immortal if they are rich enough. Definitely worth the watch.

I started watching this as well (I'm on ep 4) and I'm liking it a lot. I'm usually not a murder mystery fan, but I love sci-fi, and the details of this particular murder mystery are interesting to me. I'm still wondering what the blonde in the water has to do with anything. I guess I will find out.

Yeah, someone how it's all connected. The blond in the water is the ladies daughter that came in crying, wanting her daughter's body. How she's connected to the Meths, I am not sure yet.

By the way, Joel Kinnaman is also in The Killing on Netflix. The first season was absolutely gut-wrenching and amazingly well done. Season 2 was okay. The lead female was kind of mentally checked out of the show and it hurt the chemistry with Joel. Also the storyline wasn't nearly as good as Season 1. I can't recommend season one of The Killing enough. Go watch it when you have a chance.

I got one more episode to watch. I think it's a limited series which is a bummer because I really like it.

Did you ever see the movie "Lifeforce"? The main antagonist is a beautiful woman (Iforgot the actress) who is naked the entire movie. Not porn naked...just walked around the whole flick in her birthday suit!

it's based on three books and they can milk it and turn it into more, any company that goes and takes at best a 2 hour movie and turns in into not just one season which would have been more than enough but grasps for 2 [13 reasons]could make this a 5 season series at least if they work it right with good writers

That's true. I didn't know it was based on a book series. They will definitely wrap out this particular story line in 10 episodes so we shall see.

Hadn't heard of that either.

been thinking more Dune, I stopped after the first 4 books and was eh about the attempts as screen though I have to say the one with Sting in it was a good starter & the second wtf, cliffhanger drop ball.I need to try the Illuminatus trilogy again, I had the three in one book and someone had jacked it, as my bestie Bob said I was the main girl back in the mid/late 80s

Loved the Book "Dune" because;

I'm the Kwizatz Haderach.
born of Caladan
And I will take the Gom Jabbar.

I have the power to foresee
Or to look into the past I'm the ruler of the stars.

The movie was a severe diappointment
[doublepost=1517956459,1517955178][/doublepost]I actually own the first printing of "Dune"...I got it through a 3rd party Amazon seller. To my surprise, it was a first print.
To my astonishment...it's worth $8,000.00.
I paid 8 bucks.

I actually bought the first 4 in a set in the early 80s so yeah, lol. I have no idea if i still have them as many of my books were jacked along with other items important to me a couple of decades ago the series seemed to go down hill at the fifth I think but it was good

They hang FARRRRR more dong on tv and in movies than they show poon and it's not even close.

Went 3 seasons. Season 2 is just a continuation of the 1st, where you actually get some closure/answers.

Damn fine show, although it def hurts its self by trying to stretch things out too far. Acting is tremendous.

Season 3 is VERY solid as well, although they go too over the top with the female leads mental illness. They totally destroy that character and the ending is bizarre and dumb.

Kinnaman is great in it, although he has sucked in all his cinematic endeavors since.
