A 32-year-old New Jersey man was arrested after leaving his 3-year-old son in his car for about three hours while he was in bar/restaurant, officials said.
Brandon Morgan, was charged with child endangerment when Egg Harbor Township police arrived at the parking lot of Chickie’s & Pete’s around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
The child was not hurt and had already been taken out of the car by passers-by when officers arrived.
Police said the temperature early Saturday was about 85 degrees. The car was not running.
Morgan’s son was checked by emergency workers and turned over to his mother, authorities said.
