The Culver City Police Department reached out to the public Thursday for help finding a 6-month-old boy who was last seen on New Year's Eve with his parents, who have since been arrested.

Jacsun Manson was reported missing to police and the Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services on Jan. 25 but was last seen by witnesses on Dec. 31, according to the Culver City Police Department. He was not with his parents, Adam Manson and Kiana Williams, when they were arrested.

The family had been living Upward Bound House in Culver City, a family shelter for homeless and struggling families, according to Lt. Troy Dunlap.

On Dec. 31, a witness in that area reported seeing Jacsun sitting inside a blue 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser with his parents nearby, apparently trying to break into other cars. Investigators believe the Chrysler was also stolen.

Los Angeles police arrested the couple in the same area on Jan. 3 in connection with car burglaries, Dunlap said.

But both the PT Cruiser and infant have been missing since they were taken into custody. The car is missing a bumper and likely its license plates as well, officials said.

Dunlap said authorities are investigating all leads but the parents are not cooperating.

“We have contacted family members and friends, and they have been cooperative,” Dunlap said. “But none of the information they have given to us has actually led to the location of Jackson.”

He added that detectives are hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst.

A landfill in Riverside County was being searched Monday morning in connection with the disappearance of 6-month-old boy whose parents were arrested earlier this month, police said in a statement.

The Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services reported Jacsun Manson missing on Jan. 25, according to Culver City police. The boy's parents were arrested Feb. 2 by Los Angeles police after being found -- without the boy -- in a stolen car.

Arrest warrants for murder have been issued for Adam Manson and Kianna Williams. Both are jailed in Los Angeles County.

"Detectives have developed reason to believe that Adam Manson and Kianna Williams are responsible for the disappearance and death of their six month old son Jacsun," Culver City Police said in a statement. "We also believe that after his death, Adam and Kianna discarded Jacson’s body in a dumpster somewhere near the Crenshaw Mall in Los Angeles."

The parents of a missing and presumed dead baby are speaking out from jail, denying they killed their child even as authorities search for the body in a Corona landfill.

In exclusive jailhouse interviews Eyewitness News spoke to both the mother and the father of baby Jacsun Manson.

They said they loved their child but acknowledged nothing about the child's well-being.

Investigators, however, say Kiana Williams admitted to them that her baby was dead.

The baby's mother Kiana Williams spoke to Eyewitness News from behind bars at the Century Regional Detention Center.

She says in jail she's been labeled a baby killer, but says that's not what she is. She says she's already been in one fight in jail and has been isolated from the general population.

Asked if the couple may have left the 6 month old somewhere when they went out to party on New Years Eve, she broke down in tears.

She said Jacsun was a good baby, could hold his head up, and had begun teething.

Chilling details about the final moments of 6-month-old Jacsun Manson are revealed in court documents obtained exclusively by Eyewitness News.

Culver City investigators chronicle a twisting path to obtain accurate information from the transient parents who initially gave conflicting stories.

Ultimately, Adam Manson, 34, and Kiana Williams 32, confessed to detectives that they were "chronic methamphetamine and marijuana users," smoking every day.

It was at King Motel in Los Angeles on New Year's Eve, Manson said he awoke and took the baby from Kiana's arms as she was crying.

He said, "Jacsun was hot to the touch and his limbs were limp...Jacsun was not breathing and was unresponsive."

In a separate interview, Kiana Williams described moments of desperation, attempting CPR but that Jacsun was deceased.

What could be critical in prosecuting the couple, they said they never called police, "out of fear that they would be arrested for Jacsun's death."

They told detectives they rented the room for a second night and continued to smoke meth.

Kiana Williams recalls details about how she wrapped the lifeless body.

"Blue 'onesie' pajamas that had red accents on the cuffs...a gray blanket..a black trash bag... a pillow case...a black Adidas duffel bag," then placing the bundle in a rolling suitcase.

The pair say they scoped out several sites to dispose of the body, ending up behind the Sears store at Baldwin Hills Plaza and placing the luggage in a dumpster.

Culver City police announced Monday they will no longer conduct a search of a landfill in Riverside County for the remains of a 6-month-old boy whose parents have been charged with child abuse in connection with his death.

"After weeks of research, consultation with subject matter experts from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and discussions with Waste Management and the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, the Culver City Police Department has decided to discontinue the search of the El Sobrante Landfill for the remains of Jacsun Manson," a police statement said.

"We make this decision with a heavy heart after an exhaustive investigation was unable to narrow down the possible location of Jacsun's remains within the landfill to a point that would make continuing the search reasonable," the police statement said.

According to police, Jacsun's parents, Kiana Williams and Adam Jackson, were both held to answer at a preliminary hearing on charges of felony child endangerment resulting in death on April 11. They remain in custody on $5 million bail each.

I fear that these two will not get the sentence they deserve since there will be no way to prove what the baby died from.

Every time I look at the two images of Jacsun he looks miserable and unhappy.

I hate to think that this little boy suffered alone and in pain because even if these two were there they were not there for him.

The baby was hot to the touch, sounds like the fatal blow to his system was a meth OD, either inhaling the smoke, or accidental oral ingestion.

"The couple’s son, Jacsun Manson, remains missing, although his remains are believed to have ended up in a Corona landfill.

Adam Manson, 34, and Kiana Williams, 32, plead no contest Thursday in a Los Angeles County Superior Courtroom to child abuse resulting in death. They were both immediately sentenced to six years in prison. The couple had faced a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison. However, the judge said they will not have to serve the additional time as long as they adhere to the conditions of their parole once they are released.

L.A. County Deputy District Attorney Jonathan Hatami noted during the hearing that the couple had no prior felony record and were under the influence of drugs."
