It was three years ago that 7 month old Brianna Dobbins died of a cold medicine and cocaine overdose. After a grueling investigation, police finally gathered enough evidence to charge them last month. They both have plead not guilty.
Police said that the baby had been given more than the recommended amount of cold medicine, and then got dosed again with smoke from the crack her parents were smoking, causing an accidental overdose.
The parents face narcotics charge,as well as risk of injury a minor charges. Too bad its not murder by stupidity.
