As the search continues for a 3-year-old girl who police said was kidnapped while she was attending a birthday party, her family is pleading with anyone with information about the abduction to come forward.

Kamille “Cupcake” McKinney vanished about 8:30 p.m. Saturday from Tom Brown Village public housing community in Avondale. She was outside with friends when she disappeared.

“I just want my daughter back. I’ll pay anything, I’ll put up anything,’’ said Kamille’s father, 27-year-old Dominic McKinney. “Everybody knows Cupcake and I’ll do anything to bring that baby back home.”

According to other children, a black male and white female in a dark SUV picked up Kamille. An 11-year-old boy said he saw a man get out of the SUV, pick up Kamille and put her in the vehicle. Police do not believe this is a custodial issue. Both of Kamille’s parents as well as her extended family are on the scene.

Police have detained a man suspected of snatching an Alabama toddler from a birthday party as they continue the search for the missing three-year-old.

Surveillance images of the man and the vehicle he was driving were released by police after Kamille McKinney was abducted from outside a public housing community in Birmingham on Saturday at about 8.30pm.

An Amber Alert was issued for the toddler, whose family calls her 'Cupcake', after someone in a dark SUV grabbed her while she was outside the home with friends and then drove away.

Police said a white woman and a black man were suspected of snatching Kamille.

They believe the couple were using candy to entice children.

Authorities released surveillance images of the male suspect and the SUV they were believed to be traveling in.

The man was detained for questioning on Sunday night after a person spotted the vehicle outside the Woodside Condominiums and alerted authorities.

Police said they are searching the surrounding area for the little girl.

The condominiums are about 10 miles from the area where Kamille was abducted.

Authorities said they feared Kamille was in extreme danger.

Birmingham Police have released new information in the kidnapping case of Birmingham toddler, 3-year-old Kamille “Cupcake” McKinney.

Chief Patrick Smith of the Birmingham Police Department announced that warrants had been issued on two “persons of interest” in the abduction case had been arrested on unrelated charges to the investigation.

Patrick Devone Stallworth and Derick Irisha Brown have been questioned by the police the last couple of days in the case.

“During the investigation, detectives interviewed both subjects in relation to the disappearance of Kamille McKinney,” Smith said. “Although investigators were unable to gather pertinent information on the location of Kamille McKinney, evidence was obtained to allow detectives to obtain warrants on both subjects.”

Stallworth, 39, was arrested and charged with four counts of possession of child pornography and three counts of possession of child pornography with the intent to distribute.

Brown, 29, was originally charged with kidnapping, but ultimately had her probation revoked. She is being held with no bond.

I thought witnesses said a white woman?

According to other children, a black male and white female in a dark SUV picked up Kamille. An 11-year-old boy said he saw a man get out of the SUV, pick up Kamille and put her in the vehicle. Police do not believe this is a custodial issue. Both of Kamille’s parents as well as her extended family are on the scene.

I have no explanation for the discrepancy.

Apparently the parole they revoked for Ms. Brown... It stems from last year when she kidnapped her own 3 children from a foster home. At gunpoint.

From what I understand the only thing they have linking these two to cupcake is that the vehicle is similar to one that a witness(child) reported seeing. Imagine what a fluke it would be if it turned out these two weren't involved? Child porn and prior kidnapping..

They are running dna tests today on their vehicle to see if they can find traces of cupcake.

They have released surveillance video of who they believe is Cupcake taken right around the time she was abducted. Kids are left playing alone in the dark -_-

You see 2 adults, one is supposedly a potential witness, the other supposedly the kidnapper. They state they know who number 2 is but want to talk to number 1.

The video shows two young children playing, one of them believed to be Kamille. One man walks by the children without stopping. A second man, who has a distinctive limp, comes along a short time later and the children leave with him.

Authorities say the video’s time stamp is incorrect but the video was indeed taken about the time of the kidnapping. They believe the first man is a witness and they would like to talk with him about what he may have seen. The second man, said Birmingham Police Chief Patrick Smith, is a suspect in the case. He declined to elaborate on if they have identified that man or located him.

"Through our investigation and through statements, we’ve pretty much been able to identify the children and the second gentleman,'' Smith said. “What we’re trying to do is close the loop on the third individual in the video who was the first one who walks by as the children are playing.”

Still no news huh. Its not looking good for that darling wee girl.
My bet is sold her to paedophiles and she will either turn up dead or they will never find her body. We all know how easy it is to put a dead little in a bag and in a dumpster and they are lost forever.

"Stallworth and a 29-year-old woman were arrested on charges unrelated to the kidnapping on Tuesday."

The black chick has not been picked up in relation to the kidnapping, but a different charge she and the suspect are facing together. There is still a missing white woman.
Thats both true and false. She was picked up in relation to this. They are using other charges to hold them because no one is cooperating. The only link between him or her is the vehicle.

What they used to revoke her bond and hold her in jail for now is not related to any charges pertaining to him. The bond they revoked to hold her is a charge of kidnapping from last year were she stormed a foster home armed with a gun and kidnapped 3 of her own children. His prior record is almost spotless.

The Birmingham Police Department, along with the FBI, found Kamille’s remains inside of a Santek dumpster that had been parked in the Center Point area and later moved to a landfill near Warrior. An autopsy performed Wednesday led to the positive identification as Kamille. She was pronounced dead at 5:16 p.m. at Santek Waste Services of Alabama on Barber Blvd., which is the old Mt. Olive landfill. Her cause of death has not been released.

Smith said investigators have been sifting through about 12 tons of trash collected from in and around the Birmingham area for several days.

"Our investigators, along with the FBI, have worked tirelessly, 24 hours a day, to locate this young child and bring her back home and to hold those accountable who were involved in her disappearance ... and ultimately her demise,'' Smith said.

I think Cupcake was killed when her disappearance was reported and was featured heavily in the news.
