Raging Waters Sacramento park had to close its doors early Sunday for guests safety due to a physical altercation at the lazy river.
Apparently 2 large families with members over 15 started exchanging verbal insults to each over a disagreement over who took whose beach towel and things Escalated from there. The original disagreement was between 2 ladies.
Raging Waters Park at Cal Expo guest Christopher Neves was injured enough to warrant a ride on the Ambulance to the local hospital. His Mom also suffered a sever Asthma attack and need a lift.
One witness stated
Some guy hit a female and 10 guys just beat him and he’s all messed up right now,” he said. “He wasn’t moving, barely breathing if that.”
Cops arrived and found Neves without a pulse or heartbeat for an unknown amount of time. CPR was administered on scene, and his heartbeat returned before he was put in an ambulance and transported to the hospital.
Cal Expo police chief said Neves the 35 yr Modesto resident, tried to break up the fight but was attacked by three other people who jumped in after him.

Apparently Brawling at a water park is a thing. This one is from 2018. Families are planning lawsuits

Both families tell FOX 17 News they plan to file charges against the Wave Country, holding them partially liable for what happened.

I don’t know why you would take a towel you care
So much about to the water park. It’s a given they may end up lost.

Some of these water parks give you towel cards. You use the card to get a towel and then you exchange that same towel for a new/dry one.

If you dont return the towel, or return the unused card, you get charged.

Dont know if this operated that way though.

With subhumans like these, it really wouldnt take any actual reason to cause something like this. These animals are prone to lashing out over nothing.

We spent a weekend at a popular waterpark here in New York a couple months ago. Several different members of staff gave different opening times for the park. 11, 11.30, noon... turned out it depended on whether you had a gold or silver premium membership or were just a nobody like us. My God it was like WWIII was breaking out when they opened the gate for the gold members. People lobbing their bags over other people's heads to try and get them on the "best" seats, shoving each other out of the way, whapping each other with towels... all with the kids in tow so they could get to see how you get to be "first" in the race for the really important stuff in life
