26-year-old Kristen Dianne Hawotte was arrested after she allegedly assaulted a baby, chased a person with a knife and crashed a stolen SUV on Christmas Eve.

Hawotte was partially ejected during the crash and had to be airlifted to the hospital.

The baby also had to be airlifted due to injuries from the assault. Both Hawotte and the child have since been released from the hospital. Deputies did not say if the baby was hers.
