A man went next door with a rifle and began shooting his neighbors, killing an 8-year-old and four others inside a house near Houston, after the family asked him to stop firing rounds in his yard because they were trying to sleep, authorities said Saturday.

San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers said authorities were still searching for 38-year-old Francisco Oropeza following the shooting in the town of Clevelandn. He said Oropeza used an AR-style rifle in the attack, which happened shortly before midnight Friday.

“All of his rounds were from the neck up, so basically in the head,” Capers told The Associated Press.

By late Saturday morning, Capers said authorities were using scent-tracking dogs and an overhead drone in the search for Oropeza, who they believe was intoxicated at the time of the shooting and then fled toward a heavily wooded forest a few miles from the scene.

Capers said there were 10 people in the house — some of whom has just moved there earlier in the week — but that no one else was injured. He said two of the victims, all believed to be from Honduras, were found laying over two children in a bedroom.

Two other victims, a male and female, were found by the front door and the slain child was in the front room. Capers said three other “blood-covered” children were found in the home and taken to a hospital, where they were determined to be uninjured.

“The Honduran ladies that were laying over these children were doing it in such an effort as to protect the child,” Capers said.

The confrontation followed family members walking up to the fence and asking the suspect to stop shooting rounds, Capers said. The suspect responded by telling them that it was his property, according to Capers, and that one person in the house got a video of the suspect walking up to the front door with the rifle.

Three of the victims were women and one was a man. Their names were not released. Capers said the victims were between the ages of 8 and about 40 years old.

Capers said his deputies had been to Oropeza's home at least once before and spoken with him about “shooting his gun in the yard.” It was not immediately clear whether any action was taken at the time.

Capers said the new arrivals in the home had moved from Houston earlier in the week, but he did not know whether they were planning to stay there.

Just another repercussion of open borders, not vetting people beforehand. Then I suppose these 5 lives aren't worth the racist actions of defending that border. Besides in the long run team blue needs the voter base to ensure they stay in power, and we should do our part and sacrifice whatever means necessary be our personal safety or lives to ensure we don't disrupt that. I'm sure our heros actions will be used wisely in fueling the narrative against our amendments, thank God he's most likely safe and secure back in Mexico and our administration can sleep safely in their gated communities. So all is well ;)

@Exodus

Hes only been identified as a Mexican National, not a Mexican citizen or an illegal border-crosser.
Mexican National means people born on Mexican territory regardless of their parent's nationality or people born abroad to at least one parent who is a national of Mexico.

ICE has not released a statement about his status, though Ted Cruz tweeted:

" ICE now telling media that this mass murderer was an illegal alien who had been previously deported."

A media outlet claimed an anonymous source from "within ICE" told them that.

It may be true, but it is far from confirmed.

In any case, the police had been out previously, and they always ask for I. D. I'd like to think he would have been deported then.

He needs to be found soon, he's a dangerous person who is desperate and needs to be inside prison or dead ASAP. And he's an asshole. I hope his foot got caught on something out there and he is trapped in miserable, painful fear as his life fades away.

The man on the run for allegedly killing five people inside their Texas home has been identified as a Mexican national who was reportedly deported four times.

Francisco Oropeza, 38, has been apprehended and deported by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement was first deported in March 2009, sources told ABC News.

Oropeza was then deported again in September 2009, and another time in January 2012 after he was convicted in Montgomery County for driving while intoxicated, sources said.

He was last deported in July 2016, and it remains unclear what his current immigration status is or when he came back into the country.

There are now more than 250 law enforcement officers on the hunt for Oropeza, who is considered armed and dangerous after he fled the bloodbath inside the Cleveland home, about 50 miles north of Houston.

Survivor and grieving father Wilson Garcia said he and his wife confronted Oropeza on Friday night after he was allegedly shooting his gun while drunk from his yard. The neighbors had complained that the gunfire had woken their baby.

When the gunman refused, Garcia said he called the police five times, but it was Oropeza who arrived at his home armed with an AR-style rifle.

As far as the immigration status of the shooter, the only thing confirmed is that he is a Mexican National.
"Fox News, which cited a source with Immigration and Customs Enforcement".

If it were true, ICE would have issued a statement. A murky source? Fox isn't exactly known as a juggernaut of investigative reporting. They mostly regurgitate Reuters and UPI that they pick and choose from and add no work of their own, add nothing except misleading slant.
Hell, go to the same places they go for news. Be a purist. Or is Fox making it easier not to think by curating what is seen? Journalism my ass.

When it's actually said by some one credible, not some "source" calling from a broom closet, that will be more reliable.
"A source". Smh.

Anyway, Governor Abbot foolishly quited a "source" as well. He was wrong.

""Gov. Greg Abbott expressed regret Monday after facing intense criticism for labeling all the victims of the Cleveland, Texas, shooting rampage as “illegal immigrants,” even though it appears at least one of them was not.

Abbott’s office issued a statement Monday afternoon that suggested unnamed “federal officials” provided mistaken information indicating that all five victims were in the country illegally. Since Abbott’s initial comment Sunday, evidence has surfaced that one of the victims was a permanent legal resident of the United States.""

" “[Abbott], you are a low life asshole,” tweeted Fred Guttenberg, an outspoken activist and father of a victim of the 2018 Parkland, Florida, school shooting. “This shooting has nothing to do with immigration status and much to do with your policies. On behalf of those like my daughter who are victims of gun violence, FUCK YOU!!!”"

1/x ICE now telling media that this mass murderer was an illegal alien who had been previously deported. He killed FIVE innocent people, including a child. The corrupt corporate media will now ignore this story in three, two, one…. #BidenBorderCrisis

NEW: Per ICE source, Francisco Oropesa, the Mexican national who police who say fatally shot 5 of his neighbors in TX, is in the U.S. illegally. I’m told he’s been previously deported, has “multiple” illegal re-entries on his record, and was last encountered by ICE in 2016.

Texas massacre suspect in custody after dayslong manhunt, sources say

Cleveland, TexasCNN —
The man accused of fatally shooting five people, including a mother and her 9-year-old son, in a Texas home has been taken into custody after a dayslong manhunt, two law enforcement sources told CNN.

The arrest was made in the town of Cut and Shoot, Texas, according to a federal law enforcement source. Cut and Shoot is roughly 17 miles west of Cleveland, Texas, where the killings took place.

Francisco Oropesa, 38, is accused of carrying out the massacre Friday night after neighbors asked him to stop firing his rifle so close to their home, officials have said. Investigators had initially started tracking Oropesa using his cellphone but said that trail went cold Saturday evening and they had no information about his whereabouts since then.

This is literally what happened. The Bee is no longer satire. It's straight-up Ministry of Truth from Orwell's "1984".

“To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy, to forget whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again: and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself -- that was the ultimate subtlety: consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed. Even to understand the word 'doublethink' involved the use of doublethink.” ― George Orwell, 1984

Did they say these people were from a different country wtf I didn't read anything about that as soon as y'all see a person, read, or hear Mexica, Honduran, Guatemalan you automatically start talking about the damn border they all could be Americans, but they're just telling you what they were like white and black, but when it's a story about white people killing n doing crazy shit y'all don't say mmm was his ancestors German? These damn Germans send them back then if it's black people y'all go straight to this is what happens when you keep having babies to collect welfare with no daddy in the house when a majority of the blk ppl I kw their fathers are in their lives and more white people collect welfare than blacks. We need to stop all this BS w/assuming shit w/nothing to back it up and racial stereotypes those assumptions and stereotypes get people hurt and/or killed!!!

@Not Suprised

It was mentioned in other articles. Also keep in mind he has a consulate card (Mexican ID) if your legal you would have a Visa or permanent resident card to back that up, neither did this individual have.

Though if you want to defend the narrative be my guest...

I have seen the real vs the image initially released by FBI, on r/conspiracy and couldn't believe they can get away with that.

It's Instagram filter level of photo editing, and before someone says it was just a mistake of one person, like they did with Balenciaga, no neither of them was.

Whether we are talking about a photoshoot or a pic of alleged mass shooter, there are dozens of people involved, nothing happens randomly.

America will now feed and house and police this subhuman border roach mass-murdering invader for the rest of its irredeemable life, instead of spraying it with .45-caliber disinfectant:

A man accused of killing five people in Texas in 2023 after a neighbor complained that he was keeping a baby awake by firing a gun in his yard late at night pleaded guilty Wednesday to murder charges and will serve a life sentence without the possibility of parole, a prosecutor said.
Francisco Oropeza, a Mexican national, pleaded guilty to capital murder of multiple persons as part of a deal to avoid a possible death sentence, San Jacinto County District Attorney Todd Dillon told The Associated Press. Oropeza was offered the deal after prosecutors had lengthy discussions with family members of the victims, he said.
U.S. immigration officials said Oropeza had been deported four times between 2009 and 2016. But Dillon said he will spend the rest of his life behind bars in Texas.

“He is not eligible for deportation. He is not eligible for anything,” Dillon said. “He will stay in the custody of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice until he breathes his last breath.”

Unless our government is taken over by progressives who will release him because he is the actual victim.

Part of his sentence should have been that he is kept in isolation away from everyone and only allowed 15 minutes a day outside (alone).
