Mother Charged After Unsupervised 4YO Found Deceased In Hot Car

On Wednesday, the Fitzgerald Police Department asked the GBI to investigate the death of a 4-year-old child.

The release says the child left the apartment unsupervised and eventually got into a car. He was later found unresponsive inside the car.

The child's 30-year-old mother, Kelsey Monaco, has been charged with cruelty to children and felony murder.
