The Hartford Police Department says the investigation began on January 29 following a tip that included photographs and video footage. Authorities say that a search warrant for a home in Hartford was eventually obtained, during which several electronic devices were seized and two dogs were removed from the home.
Police say that Matthew and Kimberly Dockery were arrested on warrants in the investigation. Both are facing charges of sexual crimes against animals and tampering with physical evidence. Officials say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may follow. Matthew and Kimberly Dockery are currently being held without bond in the Ohio County Detention Center.
