Sentenced: Mark Hook Took A Labrador's Bone

A man has pleaded guilty to having sex with a dog and nine other offences, including child pornography allegations, at Bristol Crown Court today (17 July)

Mark Hook allowed a Labrador to penetrate him and also committed a sex act on the animal, according to the Bristol Post.

The 38-year-old, from Dyers Close in Hartcliffe, also pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children, two counts of distributing obscene images of children and one count of possession of extreme pornographic images.

Hook was bailed by Judge Mark Horton pending a sentencing hearing on 11 August. He was told there was a "significant risk" he would receive a prison sentence.

Counsel for the defence, Robert Duval, told the court: "These offences are not covered by recent sentencing guidelines."

The lawyer acknowledged that "there is a significant risk of him [Hook] going to prison".

"That is an understatement," responded Judge Horton. "It seems to be breaking new law. I know he knows full well the outcome that is likely in this case."

Hook declined to answer a local reporter's questions as he left the court.

A Hartcliffe man who had sex with a dog and shared videos of it online has today been sentenced to 3 years and 2 months in jail.

Mark Hook admitted allowing his friend’s Labrador to penetrate him on at least seven occasions while being filmed, he also performed oral sex on the pet.

Bristol Crown Court heard that the 38-year-old had descended into drug-fuelled spiral which saw him downloading the most extreme kinds of child and animal porn before acting out his sick fantasies with the dog on a farm in Somerset.

Hook lived at his parent’s house following the collapses of a long term relationship. He rarely socialised, instead preferring to spend his time alone in his room where he snorted the drug Mephedrone, drank and shared vile images with an online community of paedophiles.

Hook had 797 “extreme pornographic images” depicting men and women having oral and anal sex with dogs, horses and cows.

The court heard hook began acting on his perverted urges in late 2014. Hook had a friend film him being penetrated by the Labrador on a farm in Somerset.

Judge Horton sentenced hook to three years and two months for his crimes, telling him:

“You are part of an ever-growing plague of men in this society who present as men of honesty, integrity and family values.

“But behind closed doors in reality you conceal very dark secrets.

“You sit in private rooms with computers and seek out the most appalling sexual degradation and abuse of young children and babies.”
