3-year-old girl found in Atwater now in custody of Child Protective Services

Authorities say a toddler is now in the custody of Child Protective Services after she was found wandering alone in Atwater on Thursday.

Investigators say the3-year-old girl had been walking down the sidewalk by herself when found by a passerby.

While searching for the girl's parents, officers said they found a home with 5 other children with no supervision.

All six children were removed from the home and taken into custody by CPS.
