Jacob Hartley
Jacob David Hartley had been a dad for three weeks, but apparently didn't have as much enthusiasm for his newborn son as he did for his Xbox. The 20-year-old Lakeland, Florida, resident stands accused of shaking his son to death after the child started crying while he was in the middle of a video game marathon.

The boy's mother, Amber Newton, told Polk County Sheriff's Deputies that on Thursday Hartley played video games from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. He was interrupted for thirty minutes to hold his crying son, Colton D. Hartley, and allegedly shook him and yelled, "Damn you Colton, please go to [expletive] sleep."

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Newton took the child away from him. Hartley continued playing Xbox until he left to go to work at a Sam's Club.

Hartley returned later that night and continued playing video games until 4 a.m. The baby woke up at about that time, and Hartley held him. Newton says she found her baby bleeding form the mouth and nose. He was taking the hospital and died at 7 a.m. on Friday morning

Hartley confessed to shaking the baby on Thursday, and one other time in the prior week. He is now being charged with aggravated manslaughter of a child and aggravated child abuse.

Jesus! Again, and again. It never ends. :banghead:

A three week old baby . . . That is precisely when my eldest started her bout with colic. She slept a lot the first two weeks, and then--bam!--crying all afternoon every day for three months.

It's maddening, yes. I sympathize. But you get through it. You take turns. Your baby momma needs a break, too. You don't get a pass because you're playing XBox, SFB! Now, you are a parent and you have to put away your childish things at least sometimes, usually when you least want. I bet you made time for your Cheetos, Coke, Snickers, and toilet breaks, you selfish POS.

GD cookies! Mama couldnt even get 30min of peace. Ugh what a nasty piece of work this guy is. Old enough to have a baby but not old enough to take care of one.
Someone stick his ass in an industrial sized tumbler set to tsunami and thro his ass in.

christ. All over a fucking game. My second son cried a lot (and I do mean a lot). He barely slept (about 20mins at a time) and I would be in tears when my partner got home from work. I was exhausted and hungry for quite a few months! But guess what? My son is still alive and healthy. Because I didn't shake him, not even once. Not even a little bit. When it got too much, I would put him on his changing mat, or in his baby nest and go outside and cry, or into the kitchen for a coffee. Then when the stress-levels had gone down I would go back in, pick up the screaming red demon and rock him, sing to him, love him.

That's all it takes - put them down and walk away until you are more able to cope. The crying stage will pass, and soon the laughing, smiling, jabbering, interacting stage will be there, and it is totally worth the wait.

Babies don't cry just to piss off the parents, and shaking them to death, or into a living death, is NEVER the answer.

This bloated sack of shit needs to fry for what he did. He looks like a petulant, smelly, dirty, spoilt brat - the type who would really believe the baby was doing it just to spite him and spoil his fun. Bastard.

That fat fuck looks like he too was shaken as an infant. Who with good vision would allow that ugly beast to climb on them NEKKID??? Let’s just hope he is beaten like a dirty rug before hung by the flaps of his countless chins.
