not a lot out yet, no name of dumbass who left the baby.

An 11-month old girl died Friday after authorities said she was left inside a hot vehicle

Hurricane City Police Sgt. Brandon Buell said detectives talked to several people and determined the girl was left in her car seat "for a substantial period of time with the vehicle not running" and that the situation involved a family member.
[...]
"Upon arrival, they found the infant was not breathing and CPR was being performed," Buell said. "Paramedics arrived on scene and tended to the infant."
[...]
When the infant was found, the outside temperature in the area was approximately 93 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

seriously!?! a girl in texas invented something called "the hot seat" it will set off an alarm on your key chain if your dumbass forgets u left your kid in the car. you can probably just google "THE HOT SEAT". i saw the article on cnn website.

I just saw a news report of someone that said, "They wouldn't leave a gallon of milk, or freshly bought salmon on a hot car, so why leave your baby in there?"

:banghead::banghead::banghead:

"You guys.....remember the summer of 2014 when all those dumbasses left their kids in the hot car??"

i cant believe how many times ive read that a child has died after being left in a hot car. Its amazingly stupid. I have a 4yo & a 22mo and i don't see how its even possible. Pisses me off.

I used to be really sympathetic toward people who forgot babies in cars. Particularly after reading this article that was published in the New York Times called "Fatal Distraction," I truly felt this was just a tragic accident.

My feelings on this epidemic have evolved some. Now, I get angry. I feel like this is constantly in the news somehow- how is this still happening? Everyone knows the dangers. What the hell is going on?

Actually, I'm guilty of leaving milk in the car. . . . But only because hands were filled with baby and panuleta. . . .and I just forgot the milk. . . . . . For six hours. . . Needless to say, that gallon never made it inside the house. . . :Eeew:

I was a single parent with a crazy busy life...full time job...kids with significant medical issues...we lived at the Dr office....six months of the year football and cheerleading. I forgot and left many things in my car over the years...but never the kids.

Well shit! This I my town folks, Hurricane, Utah and it's not big place. Everyone is heartbroken and stunned. It looks like she was just forgotten in the car. I'm also hearing that people walking on the street saw her in the car but didn't react. The car was unlocked, anyone could have checked on her. If you see something, say something...it's not just for terrorists! Fuck!

The Aunt's interview below is hard to follow, I saw the live interview and it made a little more sense but the transcript below is rambling and confusing.

HURRICANE, Washington County — Skyah Suwyn's bright blue eyes and sweet spirit lit up every room.

The baby's death was a terrible accident that has devastated her sister and her family, Aimee Wright said.
"It was an accident. [...] she keeps saying, 'If only. If only. If only. I wouldn't have been out of my routine that day. If only I had gone to the gym.' She blames it all on herself," Wright said through tears. Under normal circumstances, April Suwyn takes her sons to a babysitter while she works in the family home doing nails, Wright said. The baby usually sleeps while Suwyn attends to her clients.
On Friday, she dropped off her older sons with Skyah in the car, then returned to the family's home house. There was construction on the street so Suwyn had to parked up the street from their home. She needed to use the restroom so she hurried into the house after parking the car.
Ordinarily, she would then put the baby down for her nap. "In her mind, she had laid Skyah down for a nap. That was her normal routine before she would start doing nails," Wright said. Suwyn usually asked a neighbor to watch the baby while she drove a couple blocks to the babysitter's house. On Friday, she got back in the car and drove to pick up the boys. After walking out of the babysitter's house to her vehicle, she discovered Skyah in the back seat.

A crowdfunding website collecting money for the family of Skyah quickly exceeded its initial goal of $5,000 Saturday, as many members of the small community, as well as contributors who wished to remain anonymous, offered donations they hope will would help the family heal.
"We love the Suwyn family, and we are coming together during a tragic time of losing beautiful baby Skyah to show our love for them as friends, family and community," states a message on the site at GoFundMe, www.gofundme.com/cgchoc. "Please donate as much as you feel. Thanks."
A Facebook page set up in support of the family said Skyah was "such a cherished little girl since day one."
More than 100 donations totaled $6,700-plus Saturday evening. The page was set up at about 9:30 p.m. Friday.

Utah baby dies after being forgotten in hot car, mom claims tragic 'accident' stemmed from change in routine
April Suwyn reportedly left 11-month-old Skyah in the hot vehicle down the street from their Hurricane home after dropping her sons with babysitter on Friday morning. She says she only realized her error that afternoon, when it was too late to save her daughter.
