she could be back inside if the fatal accident inquiry can find evidence she regularly left the mite on his own.

if theres enough witnesses and proof she was here, there and wherever and noone to say they had the child for her.

the childs father said his son wasnt a priority for him and neither was kim herself.
he didnt even know the childs birthday, never met him and never paid a penny towards him. scumbag.

it will be so wrong if she gets no further time if she did cause the childs death and has only not had many years inside due to leaving the body to decompose so long.

it would basically mean its a way to get away with murder if you made out you were too mentally disturbed to report the death.

the flat became messy with rubbish strewn.

That is hoarder quality messy, poor little guy sat in amongst all that mess and cried himself to death. I hope they can prove she left him on his own, maybe all her aquaintances can testify just how much they never saw Declan when she was around. Poor little guy......

There is a significant amount of proof in this photo to at least get her on lesser charges...like child abuse/neglect for the living conditions alone. I sure hope they can prove she left the child alone at home multiple times...without the child or being able to prove she provided child care. She didn't want to keep this child to herself out of love...she wanted to keep this child HID because she knew someone would notice the obvious signs of abuse and neglect

yes but her defense is that declan didnt live in those conditions. that she went into a downward spiral after his death and this mess and the leaving him to rot was the result.

she has all the bases covered.

I don't know if it's just that I already know this sad tail, but I THINK it's been posted here.
I can't do a search because for some reason that never works for me.

She probably just couldn't find him if that mess was there with him. I can imagine it something like "here baby, baby. Oh well, he must have left, lets take some pills."

This woman was a lazy slob. Not a hoarder

What I meant was that her mess goes well beyond messy, it's a hoarder quality mess, not just your regular "I don't like housework" mess but it's a "I stopped giving a shit about me, my life and my baby a long time ago" mess!

To me a hoarder is someone that fills their living space with useful things. A slob just throws food wrappers and dirty diapers, clothes etc. on the floor and moves away when its no longer comfortable to live in. A hoarder could never move away from their carefully collected stuff.

There are hoarders that collect garbage too, stacks and stacks of empty food tins, banana peels, coke bottles, potato chip bags, and just trash, also have unflushable toilets, bugs, rats, and no water. Watch the tv show "Hoarders: Buried Alive" you'll see there is just as many if not more that have nothing of value to anyone, including themselves, in their hoard, it's just trash.

That is my favorite show. I am mildly ashamed for loving it, but there you are.

there was another case with similarities.
a mother of 8.
five of the kids lived with her.
she starved a 4 yr old to death and left him to rot for 2 years under piles of stuff in his cot.

A police officer described her heartbreak seeing one of the children dive into the rubbish to fetch their things when police came to take the children into care. "It was clear the state of the house was normal to the child," said the officer.

"Her hair was all matted and she was looking very unkempt," the officer said.

"She had a woollen jumper on and it appeared flies were coming off her jumper.

Yup! There are hoarders who keep their most prized possessions strewed in with rat feces, rotten food, cockroaches, and mold.

Yikes.

Okay, Maybe there is a fine line between hoarding and collecting. I would like to think of myself as a collector because I wash my dishes everyday and never leave trash sitting around.

Dear Gawd... I hope I never cross that line.
