A former New York Jets running back is accused of violently attacking his ex-girlfriend in front of their 5-month-old son at the woman’s Florida home on Saturday, a report said.

Zac Stacy, 30, who played in eight games for the Jets in 2015, allegedly punched his ex in the head several times before tossing her into a TV after coming over to see the baby, TMZ reported, citing sources and court documents.

Stacy then allegedly “body-slammed” her into the boy’s bouncy seat.

A portion of the horrifying attack was captured on video obtained by the outlet.

In the footage, the woman can be seen falling to the floor during the brutal attack and pleading for the man to stop.

“He punched me several times in the head! I begged him to stop because the baby was on the couch just a few feet from where he punched me,” the woman recalled in a restraining order application obtained by TMZ.

After the attack, the woman called police and Stacy fled the house.

It wasn’t immediately clear if a judge granted the woman’s request for a restraining order.

“I fear for my life and my children’s lives,” she wrote in the application.

The woman, in the application, said she was hospitalized after the attack with bumps and bruises and a possible cut to the head.

Police in Florida have arrested Zac Stacy, a former Vanderbilt University and New York Jets running back who's accused of violently beating his girlfriend last week.

FOX 17 News obtained the arrest warrant from Oakland Police. The warrant says Stacy, 30, went to his ex-girlfriend's home on Nov. 13 to visit their young child—police said the victim was "extending an olive branch" since the two were in mediation and she was allowing him to visit their 5-month-old son.

That's when things reportedly turned physical, according to the warrant. Police said the domestic violence was caught on the victim's home surveillance camera.

The victim sustained contusions to her face and legs along with bruises on her torso, records show.

The warrant also states police were called to the home back in August for a verbal dispute between Stacy and the victim, then again in September for domestic violence.

Stacy is facing felony charges of second-degree aggravated battery and third-degree criminal mischief.

Oakland police say the victim has filed an order of protection against Stacy.

Zac Stacy’s ex-girlfriend said she feels unsafe now that the former New York Jets running accused of beating her is back on the street.

Stacy posted $10,000 bond on Friday and was released from a Florida jail, but attorneys for his ex Kristin Evans are requesting a judge reverse that decision.

Disturbing video released last weekend shows Stacy brutally attacking Evans in front of their 5-month old child, picking her up and throwing her into a television set.

After evading arrest for a week, Stacy, 30, was arrested at the Orlando International Airport on Thursday. He was slapped with charges of aggravated assault and criminal mischief.

On Friday, the former NFL player appeared in court for the first time, and a judge granted his release on his $10,150.

Evans told WESH she had planned to attend the hearing, but was unable to make it after it was moved to an earlier time. Evans said she watched on video through tears.

“It’s overwhelming to think back,” Evans said. “I loved this man and we had life plans together.”

Evans claims Stacy’s abuse goes back months, starting when she became pregnant with his child last year, with the terrifying attacks escalating.

“The physical abuse began in May,” she said. “I didn’t report it. I was pregnant at the time. I wanted my son’s dad to be there for me and for the birth of his first child. So I forgave him.”

Police said they previously responded to two other domestic incidents involving the couple. Evans received a restraining order against him.

“He has bullied me for so long that at one point, I believed it was my fault,” she said. “It’s disturbing and disgusting to see things people have said online about what did I do. I did nothing. I never did anything to deserve something like this — no one could do anything to deserve something like this,.”

Thomas Feiter, Evans’ attorney, said Saturday he disagreed with the judge’s decision to grant bail.

“That just doesn’t seem right especially given the fact the judge saw the video. He saw that horrific video of blatant egregious domestic violence committed on our client,” he told WESH.

“Obviously this is a very serious charge,” Stacy’s attorney Thomas Luka told reporters at the jail on Friday. “My hope is when we see the full record we’ll have a much more clearer picture on the events that occurred.”

Orlando police released a body camera video of former NFL player Zac Stacy being arrested Monday, showing him tell officers his ex-girlfriend “staged” the video that appears to show him assaulting her..

“The whole thing was staged,” he said. “All she was trying to do was get money out of me. She got a reaction out of me. She knew I was down. She knew I was going through anxiety and depression. She knew I was going close this gap between me and my son.”

He added that she is just “bitter” because he does not want to be with her.

“It’s unfortunate because I just got rehab for anxiety depression over eight months ago,” he said. “I dropped everything to come down and support the mother of my child in her last trimester and the baby, and I let her know I wasn’t trying to be with her or nothing like that. Just a case of bitterness, man. That’s why she did this. The whole assault thing, she staged it. She set me up.”

He also claimed he wasn’t running, but instead he had to leave Florida because it “wasn’t safe for him mentally.” Stacy claimed he didn’t know about the warrant for his arrest.

She might be a gold digging bitch but he is the dumb ass that nutted in her.

If she is a horrible person then he should just pay his child support and stay away.

He will probably be doing that child a favor.

With that rage I would never want him to be alone with ant child.

She's upset I'm not taking care of him like she expected,' he said.
‘This is what abusers do,' she said. 'They will make you seem like you're the crazy one, and that they're the victim.'
My abusive ex-husband used to tell me time and time again if I hadn’t caused the situation.. it was my fault he was pushed to that reaction.. for a time I truly believed if I just did this better or a different way.. if I changed my mannerisms.. I completely reinvented who I was to try and be a better wife.. one that wouldn’t cause myself to get beaten.. no matter what I changed.. no matter how hard I tried to please him.. the end result was just the same and it was still my fault.. I tell my kids and grands.. you are in control of your body, mind and reactions.. you choose your reaction and response and you know right from wrong - choose wisely.. hell I suffer from depression, anxiety, PTSD and OCD.. does that mean I can say and do as I please with no consequences and a permanent get out of jail free card..
He faces 20 years in prison if convicted..

Oh boo fucking hoo Zac, you were down and depressed. Still no God damn excuse for a grown ass man to physically assault a woman. For fuck sake dude, you threw her into a God damn TV. She's damn lucky it wasn't the window

Love how this piece of shit believes he is the victim. Nothing any judge, lawyer, cop, or therapist can ever say or do will convince him that it isn't her fault. I bet his so called anxiety and depression is more reactions to not constantly getting his own way. He's not famous anymore so no one gives a shit who he is. So he has the sads and beats up women with even less power than he has so he can feel in control.

Now his claim to fame is violence on women with tiny babies in the room.

The argument was obviously over money because he mentioned money and in one of her interviews she mentioned he was fighting with her over her rent money. So for a little bit of money he was willing to kick the shit out of the mother of his child.

He needs those 20 years in prison. There's nothing redeemable or valuable about him. He will beat the next woman he finds too if he doesn't go to prison.

As for the mom... I feel sorry for the fear for her life she probably has right now. And knowing she is connected to him forever through that baby so she can never be really free of him.

Former NFL running back Zac Stacy has been sentenced to six months in jail with probation stemming from a domestic incident over two years ago.

Stacy was arrested in 2021 after the mother of his child, Kristin Evans, showed detectives a video of him attacking her at her Central Florida home, authorities said. Security video from inside the home showed Stacy strike Evans multiple times before he threw her into a television set and onto the floor, police said.
Stacy, 31, entered a plea deal in the domestic violence case earlier this month in exchange for some charges being dropped.

Evans asked the court to only sentence Stacy to probation. However, the state asked for a year in jail. The judge, calling the video evidence shocking, split the difference landing on six months in jail, and two years probation, along with counseling and other programs.
The court also heard directly from Stacy. The judge allowed him to address Evans directly, apologizing for what he did.

"Chris. I'm very sorry for my actions. I'm very sorry for what happened, and how I hurt you," he said. "I just wasn't mentally or emotionally healthy, and there is absolutely no justification for what I did, no excuses for my actions toward you. I never meant to hurt you, and even with the progression we made towards co-parenting, I hope deep down you can forgive me for what I've caused and done to you."
