I'm an eternal optimist, and I fully believe that there's a chance that my persuasive prose can lead the confused and misled to a better, healthier perception of life.

HA HA HA HA

Amusement. Yep, that pretty much covers it.

Dude, I'm new at this. Give me (X amount of time) and I'll roll my eyes and ignore. Don't rain on my parade! :(

What in the hell is wrong with you guys??? I know this man personally... he ran a stop sign and killed four boys who he went to high school... who he knew personally and who's families he knew. They were neighbors and friends and you guys are on here posting his picture for others to laugh at????? DO YOU REALIZE THE AGONY HE IS GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW???? AND YOU GUYS FEEL THE NEED TO POST HIS PICTURE FOR OTHERS TO RIDICULE AND LAUGH ABOUT, COMMENTING ON HOW HE LOOKS. OF COURSE HE LOOKS AWFUL, HE MADE A BAD DECISION AND NOW HAS TO DEAL WITH THAT FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE. I'D LIKE TO SEE HOW YOU SORRY SONS OF BITCHES WOULD LOOK IF THIS HAPPENED TO YOU.

There's a handbook, right? It's the only explanation of how each of these loonies manage to post almost identical posts...

Let me guess-- the next one will make extensive use of the word "fuck" as a verb, noun, and hopefully a gerund. I like gerunds.

For all you high and mighty, "I never drink and drive" folks - good for you. Wise choice, but do not sit there and be so self-absorbed and self-righteous. Let me just urge you to consider the community in which these boys were raised. This community celebrates beer-focused events...Oktoberfest, for one... I do NOT discount for one second the magnitude of what Nicholas did. I don't know him personally, but the agony and grief he, too, is feeling for one (albeit, fatal and horrible) mistake in judgement is something he will carry with him every day of the rest of his life. And you sit here and mock his arrest photo?! What does that say about YOUR character? Forgiveness is fundamental to our very being. He made an absolutely horrible decision that night, and I'm sure he probably wishes he was killed, too. You don't think he is sitting in his cell REGRETTING to his very core the decision he made to drive that night?! I'm certain he is. It's a tragic situation for ALL families involved, but be mature enough to look at the big picture. This man's life is forever changed; no court punishment will ever take away what he will undoubtedly feel and think about every day.

Yeah, I'm self-absorbed and self-righteous-- and I earned it by not being a drunk driver, not committing felonies, and not murdering people with a weapon that weighs several thousand pounds. In other words, I'm not a dumb fuck!

I am more than willing to mock his unfortunate arrest photo, since by his actions he allowed himself to be seen in the worst light possible. I'm on board with those who like public shaming. Want to keep your loved ones from being ridiculed here? Simple-- don't be a fucktard and drive drunk, and don't allow your friends to drive drunk if they're with you. You'll never have to read any hurtful comments at all. Really simple.

Don't bother telling me about the "community in which these boys were raised". I could tell you stories about how I was raised that would stand your hair on end-- and some how I've managed not to be a child beating asshole-- so I suspect that your buddy could have managed to learn not to tank up on beer and then get behind the wheel of his beater car.

Don't you feel better now? I know I do. :D

His personal hell is punishment enough. He'll never recover and it's sickening to read the posts on here...

What in the hell makes you think there is any such thing as "ENOUGH" punishment for killing 4 kids?

Tell me why, if this makes you as sick as you state, in the hell are you still here?

Looking for sympathy? Try the dictionary somewhere between shit and syphilis!

The Sixth Circuit U.S Court of Appeals has rejected an appeal filed by Nicholas Schwieterman to reverse his conviction for four counts of involuntary manslaughter in a 2008 traffic accident that took the lives of four area teenagers, Jordan Diller, Brad Roeckner and Jordan Goettemoeller, all 19, and Jordan Moeller, 18.

Schwieterman, who was 23 when he was sentenced, was sentenced to 24 years in prison (six years in prison on each of four counts of involuntary manslaughter).

So at the link @Satanica posted there's a link at the end of the article leading to 'Walking With Nick' which my browser instantly phreaks out on.

Why do I mention this? Well after a trip to the wayback machine I think I figured out who @disgusted and/or @J-Rock was...

Written by his sister, it's peppered with counter-arguments from the case with tales of conspiracy and coverup but IMHO fails to mention any responsibility taken by her dipshit brother who killed 4 people because he chose to get behind the wheel while plastered out of his gourd.

Last update was about 2 months before the appeals court ruling.

So if sister-dearest reads this while waltzing memory lane over dear-wrongly-imprisoned-brother -
Look at it this way. He's almost half-way through his sentence. It won't be long now...

hmmm interesting

What started as one night of drunk driving ended as a 24-year jail sentence.

Also, reviewing the thread, we seem to missing what appears to have been a very interesting mugshot from the time, let me see if I can locate that

Also, what was up with all the ppl flooding on here crying how unfair we were for making fun of him, I definitely need to find this mugshot so i can make some fun too brb

wtf this is him in court in March, 2008. How the hell does a 22 year old have this much male-pattern baldness going? how is this even possible? It is as though they got the age off by at least 10 years if not 20:

Nicholas-Schwieterman-court-2008.jpg

news source on it remains reachable at https://dailystandard.com/archive/2...-fatal-crash-charged-with-driving-intoxicated including works for eurotrash

According to link below, he was under the influence of alcohol, cocaine, and pot, when he drove and ran that stop sign.

Also, in the appeal to the supreme court, the appeal does make a convincing argument that his sentence was in fact for a disproportionately long time and could be considered cruel and unusual punishment under the circumstances. But the US justice system, if it can give no fucks, it will give no fucks, I mean you know how it is over there.

No luck so far on the apparently-amazing mugshot :(
