George Floyd got EVERYTHING he deserved.
This sucks. An 85-year-old man has been hospitalized with multiple facial injuries after he was beaten following a car crash Saturday night in Canton. The victim, identified as Ralph White, was driving at around 10:40 p.m. in the 2500 block of 8th Street NE when another driver exited a nearby parking lot, crashing into White.
According to Lt. Dennis Garren, police believe the man got out of his vehicle and brutally beat White, who was still inside his car, before driving away. White was transported to Aultman Hospital with facial injuries and a brain bleed, according to his family.
His family says White is a retired steelworker from Timken Steel and has been married to his wife for 66 years. Garren said no one has been arrested but there is person of interest. Officers are also checking for possible surveillance video in the area for more information on the driver.
