Man Shot, Stabbed, Finger Cut Off In Gruesome Home Invasion

Police have arrested two people who they say were involved in a gruesome home invasion.

Officers were called to the apartment Monday morning, February 1, for reports of a man found dead in the home.

Investigators received information stating Jacob Montes, 20, and Jordi Olvera, 21, were possible suspects.

Investigators learned Montes and Olvera broke into the victim's home, a 22-year-old man, and shot him multiple times, and then after he was dead, the two stabbed him and removed one of the victim's fingers.

Montes and Olvera have been booked on several complaints including first-degree murder, first-degree burglary, and desecrating a human corpse.
