A Texas man accused of stabbing four of his family members, including a 9-year-old child, has been arrested following a brief manhunt.
Deputies responded to a home in in Porter, where they learned three women and a young girl had been attacked by a family member. The suspect, identified by authorities as 36-year-old Nathan Carlin, allegedly flew into a rage following an argument, according to a police press release.
The victims told deputies Carlin whipped out a knife, with each of them suffering “various lacerations and puncture wounds.” They were all taken to various hospitals for treatment and are listed in serious but stable condition, officials said.
Their ages were listed as 61, 38 and 23, and 9 years old.
Immediately after the attack, the victims said Carlin fled from the home and into the nearby woods.
