Sentenced: Santa Rosa County Couple Made Child Porn Videos Involving Young Victim

A man and woman are behind bars in Santa Rosa County after deputies discovered child porn videos involving a young child.

Brandi Nacole Harper, 38, is charged with two counts of sexual battery on a child under the age of 12. John David McKenzie, 35, is charged with 10 counts of child pornography.

Harper's son discovered child pornography videos on McKenzie's phone at a Jay home. He turned the phone over to deputies.

Sheriff Bob Johnson said the videos involved the youngest victim he's ever seen during his time in law enforcement. No further details were released involving the child.

Johnson added that Harper was in the videos.

If the job of a CNA was easy, there wouldn't be a shortage of us. But there is. Brandi Nacole Harper, 38, has been arrested for capital sexual battery involving a two-year-old victim, and her boyfriend, John David McKenzie, 35, of Jay has been charged with 10 counts child pornography.

Harper’s arrest report states that during the summer of 2020 she engaged in oral and vaginal sex with a two-year-old boy in her trailer.

McKenzie’s arrest report states that five photos appear to be female victims between the ages of 3-8 years of age. One victims was pictured wearing handcuffs. According to the arrest report, five videos shows sex acts involving male and female children. Johnson said more charges are expected for McKenzie.

Harper’s son found McKenzie’s phone and turned it into the sheriff’s office.
