A woman who was the babysitter when a 6-month-old girl died in Tucson in 2017 has reached a plea agreement in the case.

Pima County prosecutors say Kaylie Ryan Gossett pleaded guilty Tuesday to manslaughter and child abuse.

She faces up to 21 years in prison for manslaughter and 3 ½ years for child abuse.

The baby was found unresponsive in her crib in February 2017.

Three people were sentenced Monday afternoon in the 2017 death of Tucson "Baby Wyllow."

Back in February 19, 2017, 6-month-old Wyllow Brewer was found unresponsive in her crib at a home and later died at Banner-University Medical Center.

On Monday, Kylie Marie Brewer, the child's mother, was sentenced to 16 years in for the death of Baby Wyllow, followed by 5 years of probation for an unrelated charge.

On Aug. 28, 2019, she pled guilty to charges including, manslaughter and dangerous nature, and child abuse. She also pled guilty to attempted fraudulent scheme and artifice.

Jon Paul Bogdanowich was sentenced to 15 years of probation - early termination is possible after ten years. Bogdanowich pled guilty to child abuse with death or serious injury likely on Aug. 28, 2019.

Kaylie Ryan Gossett got sentenced to 10.5 years in prison, 15 years of probation tail - early termination is possible after 10 years.

A report from the medical facility showed that the 6-month-old had a bruise on her head, blood in her nose and mouth, a deformed, potentially fractured humorous and her skin was beginning to marble.

I had been waiting for these three to be sentenced and truthfully feel that this baby did not receive justice.

There were no report of any of them expressing remorse for what they did or allowed to happen to baby Wyllow.

During Brewer’s sentencing, the judge cited her lack of responsibility for what happened to her daughter saying that, even though she may not have been the one to hurt her child physically, it was her inaction that played a role in her daughter’s death.

“She knew what was going on and she did nothing about it,” Judge Kenneth Lee said before sentencing Brewer. “... There’s not really a lack of remorse in this matter.”
