Shiloh had custody of all her children until she was arrested for this ridiculous claim. If you check her exhusband's background you will see he had accusations against him by his exwife, who is now remarried to him. When Shiloh was arrested, her children went to their father's custody and she was allowed supervised visits because of the charges against her. Shiloh hadn't had Davis in her care very long that day. If he had been hurt before he arrived at her home, it may not have shown yet and possibly Shiloh didn't realize it yet. Where was his father? Why wasn't he there if it was his visitation? I would think that a father with a history of domestic violence might possibly be the person who should be under investigation and Shiloh is just the scape goat. Her case is being appealed and given the proper judge her evidence will hopefully be seen and heard. I just pray it is in time for her to raise her child before Davis' birth mother does.

DHS has no authority to kick doors down. Something stinks ther

Uh, yeah...my aunt hit her daughters with a hanger, which left hanger shaped welts. Her teacher saw them, reported to DCS....
it took them 48 hours to show up

So youre either misinformed, a moron, or both

Obviously, they had no evidence to charge dad with the crime. And my ex had visitation with his son and had to work, run to the store, help out a friend, etc. Where does it state that if you do not spend the entire visitation with your children, you are guilty of something?
And as for ex husband's background. If he is back with the woman who pressed charges, they were either bogus, or something stupid.

I just don't get why you people have to come on here and defend everybody. Seriously, you guys are always saying, not guilty, you don't know her/him like I do, etc...

Go the fuck away!!!!!!!!!!!

She was a nurse who gave several reasons how he may have been injured. Seriously? And you say she didn't do it, she was only with him for a little while. It doesn't take too long to beat a baby to death. A couple beats in the head and the poor child is dead. She could have been alone with him for a minute while dad was outside taking out the trash, and could have killed him.

David didn't die in his mothers care, now did he? So I think that the kids stand a better chance now then before.

Wow! Thank you so much for keeping me from eyeball seizures ! It is refreshing that a DBD could spell and form a complete sentence for once.

I think Walking Eagle means they don't have the authority to literally kick down a door...like a swat team does.

Obsolete ok I get it now

Yeah I dont think they can do that either

"The medical examiner concluded that it's "plausible that the injury could have occurred accidentally from a higher level fall with impact of the head on the floor. The possibility of nonaccidental intentionally inflicted trauma is also not ruled out."

I don't like baby beaters. I don't know any of these people, but this statement from the medical examiner sure does sound like reasonable doubt to me. The fact that she has 3 different baby daddy's and has a snarky little grin in her mugshot can't take that statement away. If I was a juror it would be hard for me to convict a mother knowing that there is a possibility that this was an accident, particularly if she has 3 kids and no past history of abuse.

Maybe so. But if the baby did fall from a high level, where was she? That is neglect. Either way she is still guilty in my book

Thank you Obsolete! That is exactly what I meant!

Toxic, although they have no authority for kicking doors, they can bring cops with them. If they do that, I would have to leave it at the officers discretion.

I have 5 kids with 4 guys, that shit didn't faze me at all.

The medical examiner has to say that if there is any way at all it could be accidental. Otherwise he would be lying under oath.

She was charged and convicted. She did it. Her friend just needs to go away, and stay there. There was obviously more evidence aside from that statement that proved her guilt.

@Nell

The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals granted a new trial for a woman previously convicted of murdering her 14-month-old stepson.

A jury found Shiloh Brafford guilty in the 2008 death of her stepson, Davis. Prosecutors say she violently shook him and slammed his head against a hard object.

But with the help of the Innocence Project, the Defense called several doctors who testified that Davis had pre-existing conditions that could have made it possible for him to die from a minor fall.

Well looky here. The power of science. What a miscarriage of justice. Not only did they make a circus out of this beautiful child's death, but they destroyed a family and a woman's life. A little catching up on the prosecution team and the crappy husband says that karma indeed is a bitch.
