A 'Fuckboi"' broke his girlfriend's leg because she failed to cook his pasta properly then forced her to carry on cooking.

Dorian Wright, 30, gripped her by the throat, knocked her to the floor and shattered her leg with a savage kick.

Wright then forced her to carry on cooking with her fractured leg as she groaned in agony.

It was one of a string of attacks on the girlfriend, who wasn't named, when Wright was sentenced at Northampton Crown Court on Friday.

Wright, inflicted a nine-month reign of terror on his partner in 2015 and 2016.

On another occasion, he choked his girlfriend and held her face under a running tap in the bath after argument over the phone.

He broke two of her fingers by pushing her down the stairs, he would 'flick her in the lips', and there was constant name-calling and criticising the way she dressed on a daily basis.

The court heard he put a hunting knife in the terrified woman's mouth, threatened to rape her mother and burn her house down, and throwing a burger in the girlfriend's face when a fast-food delivery was wrong.

'Wright poses a significant risk to women and the sentence will keep him off the streets for some time.'

The thug pleaded guilty to coercive and controlling behaviour and two counts of grievous bodily harm and was jailed for two years and three months, but his abuse continued in the court room.

He could be heard tutting as his abusive acts were read out and he even taunted his victim, watching from the public seats, by calling out her name as he was led down to the cells.

In sentencing, His Honour Judge Tregilgas-Davey branded Wright an 'unpleasant bully'.

Although you may not be "symparth"etic to this woman there are perhaps reasons she stayed.

Some abusers will threaten not only the victim but also their loved ones. The fear and isolation can be excellent motivators to keep the victim from leaving.

Not saying that happened here because there's no mention of it, but it's possible.

ETA actually, scratch that. He threatened to rape her mom and burn her house down. So there ya go.
