Police are searching for a 13-year-old girl considered “missing and in danger” after her parents were found dead inside their home in northwestern Wisconsin on Monday, the sheriff’s office said.

Jayme Closs was reported missing after deputies discovered her parents' bodies inside their home on Highway 8, located west of Barron, Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald told FOX9. The Barron County sheriff's office did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for information.

“When deputies arrived on scene they found two deceased adults. A 13-year-old female is missing from the residence and is considered missing and endangered,” the sheriff’s office wrote in a Facebook post along with a photo of Jayme.

Police received a 911 just before 1 a.m. from a person asking for help at the residence. Authorities did not elaborate on the call or how the two adults died, except that gunfire was involved.

Jayme is described as being 5 feet tall, 100 pounds with green eyes and blond or strawberry blond hair.

They couldn't find a picture of her with a better, more clear angle? Does she have a cleft in her chin? Is there a mole on her jawline? We don't know cuz we cant see from that angle. You would think they would the public to have an accurate idea of what she looks like

It was probably her & her boyfriend. Mom and dad didn't want them together.

I hope not. But that's how they usually end.

I thought that too. But when you look her up on FB. Like all her photos are at that angle.

I remember that horse toothed teenager who got friends to murder her furbie parents, and the 11 yr old Canadian girl who killed her own brother while her b.f. took out the parents.
We are hardened and cynical here....

Missing Wisconsin girl, Jayme Closs, may be in Miami after parents found dead
A 13-year-old girl who went missing after her parents were found dead in their Wisconsin home may have been spotted at a gas station in Miami, police said.

Authorities have been searching for Jayme Closs since deputies in Barron County responded to her parents’ home in Barron around 1 a.m. Monday after a 911 call from an unknown person. The bodies of Closs’ parents — James Closs, 56, and his wife, Denise Closs, 46 – were found dead inside.

“This was a gunshot crime scene,” Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald told NBC News. “We could hear yelling in the background on this 911 call. No one interacted with our dispatchers, so it was just kind of an open line where we could hear different things in the background.”

Fitzgerald said the call led investigators to the Closs’ home, but the young teen was nowhere to be found. She is not considered to be a suspect in her parents’ deaths at this time, Fitzgerald said.

“She is missing and endangered,” he said. “She is a 13-year-old girl that we believe may have been at this scene when this took place.”

I really hope you're wrong.

But the fact that we're here bears witness that quite literally nothing surprises us any more except the occasional WTF?

I think itd be the least surprising outcome.

Itd be more surprising/odd if this was a kidnapping/abduction.

Cops to start new ground search for missing Wisconsin girl
BARRON, Wis. — Authorities are hoping for as many as 2,000 volunteers to help in the search for a 13-year-old Wisconsin girl missing since her parents were killed in their home.

Investigators believe Jayme Closs was taken from her home near Barron on Oct. 15. Her parents had been shot to death.

Tips led authorities to call for another ground search on Tuesday.

Authorities are also seeking information on two vehicles that may have been traveling near the Closs family’s home on the night of the killings. One is a red or orange Dodge Challenger and the other is a black Ford Edge or black Acura MDX.

Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald called them vehicles of interest, but did not elaborate.
